President Joe Biden has been mocked online over his Veterans Day appearance
where he appearing confused at a ceremony in Virginia.

The president attended an official Veterans Day memorial at Arlington National
Cemetery on Saturday to commemorate servicemen and women throughout American
history. Videos of the event show Biden placing a wreath in front of the Tomb of
the Unknown Soldier along with Vice President Kamala Harris and representatives
of the U.S. Armed Forces, while a large crowd of civilian guests watched.

But social media users have been quick to point out Biden looking confused and
unsure of what he should do in clips posted online.

In one piece of footage, Biden appears to walk away from the wreath before
doubling back and standing, momentarily frozen, with a confused expression on
his face.

Social media users were quick to point out Biden's gaffe. "If Joe Biden is so
cognitively impaired that he can't figure out where to stand during a solemn
Veterans Day commemoration, how can he fulfill his duties as Commander-in-Chief
in a crisis? Can you imagine @joebiden leading America during World War II?"
David Burke remarked. Podcast host and YouTuber Tyler Zed commented: "Our
enemies must be shaking in their boots."

Another, posting under the username Mrgunsngear, shared the clip with the
accompanying caption: "Joe Biden attempting to be president on Veterans Day."

Talk radio host Michael Brown said the First Lady Jill Biden should "stop this
madness". "Time to go home. Pathetic at such a solemn ceremony. We shouldn't
laugh at this," he wrote on X. "Instead we should recognize the
Commander-in-Chief is incapable of being the CnC. Someone stop this madness.
Looking to you @FLOTUS. Do you love him? Take him home."

Others came to the presidents defense. John Buscemi wrote on X: "I am ashamed,
as a boomer it scares me there is little respect for the elderly in this
country, I could come back and say something like Trump told us to drink Clorox,
but that's not my point, I remember [former President Ronald] Reagan, and
[former President Gerald Ford. Please show some respect and kindness toward the
elderly."

Another user said that even for Biden's mistakes, he is a better option for
president than his political rival Donald Trump: "Better than calling the troops
losers and suckers. Better than saying the disabled vets shouldn't be seen with
him, because they make him look bad. Better than Donald all day, every day."

During his visit to Arlington, Biden delivered a speech at the Memorial
Amphitheater. "We come together today to once again honor the generations of
Americans who stood on the front lines of freedom," he told the crowd. "To once
again bear witness to the great deeds of a noble few who risked everything,
everything, to give us a better future," he said, paying tribute to "those who
have always, always kept the light of liberty shining bright across the world."
