PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This program includes an overview of the diagnosis of MS and early RRMS
characteristics and discusses early high-efficacy versus escalation treatment.
It presents the transition to SPMS (active versus nonactive) and explores the
addition of nonpharmacological treatment for patients. The nonpharmacological
treatment discussion includes the incorporation of physical, occupational, and
cognitive rehabilitation therapy that patients who are progressing in MS may use
in conjunction with MS disease-modifying therapies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

01

OBJECTIVE #1

Understand multiple sclerosis as a disease with significant disability burden,
impact, and unmet needs.

02

OBJECTIVE #2

Understand the use of pharmacotherapy and nonpharmacotherapy in the treatment
armamentarium throughout the RMS continuum.

03

OBJECTIVE #3

Increase understanding of the evolution of the MS continuum.
