OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

OFFICIAL SURVEY RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SURVEY OR TO RECEIVE
THE INCENTIVE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF RECEIVING THE
INCENTIVE. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

SURVEY AND SPONSOR
OEM Bus, Truck and Off-Road Vehicle Electrification Survey (“Survey”) uses the
Survey Monkey online platform. This online survey platform gathers thoughtful
opinions of Mobility Engineers who participate in the survey. The data gathered
will be kept confidential.



No element of chance either increases or decreases your chances of receiving the
Incentive. The Survey is sponsored by AMETEK Dynamic Fluid Solutions (“Sponsor”)
located at 100 East Erie Street, Kent, OH 44240.

ELIGIBILITY
The Survey is open to Mobility Engineers over 22 years of age at the time of
entry, unless prohibited by applicable laws or regulations applicable by country
of residency and the Survey is void where prohibited or where restricted by law,
or where bonding, registration, or any other requirements would be required but
have not been met, or where the methods of entry would be deemed consideration.

Employees, family members, or household members of Sponsor or Sponsor’s parents,
affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other
entity involved in the development or administration of the Survey are not
eligible to participate in the survey or receive the Incentive.

 

While not inclusive of all jurisdictions, the Survey and its Incentive are
deemed prohibited in the following countries Afghanistan, Bolivia, the province
of Quebec (Canada), Cambodia, Chad, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, Italy, Saudi Arabia,
United Arab Emirates, and any other country where local laws would prohibit the
provision of or entry into the Survey.

 

ENTRY PERIOD
Begins Oct 18, 2022 (12:01AM ET) through Dec 31, 2022 (9:59AM ET)

 

 

HOW TO ENTER:

 * Take the Survey found here and provide thoughtful answers to the questions:
   * Entrants who answer open ended questions with unintelligible responses such
     as just letters to fill the requirement and proceed through the survey will
     be discarded.
   * Entrants who answer open ended questions with words similar to no comment,
     not applicable, don’t know or etc. will also be discarded.
 * Provide valid contact information including a work email address. 
 * Be among the first 100 participants.
 * Any entries that do not meet the above requirements or are fake,
   inappropriate or generated or supported by automated means, including but not
   limited to scripts, bots, and macros, are void and disqualified.
   
   

INCENTIVE

 * The first 100 Mobility Engineers who take the survey and provide thoughtful
   answers as well as valid contact information will be eligible to receive a
   $25 Amazon Gift card.
 * AMETEK DFS will notify Participants eligible to receive the Incentive via
   email by Jan. 9, 2023.
 * By Jan. 16, 2023 the Participants eligible to recieve the Incentive will need
   to simply reply to the AMETEK DFS email to accept the Incentive.
 * After receiving the acceptance and verying the correct email address, AMETEK
   DFS will send the $25 Amazon Gift card digitally to the email provided by the
   Participant.
 * Participants are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the
   value of the Incentive.
 * The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all
   matters related to the Survey and its Incentive.
 * In no event, will Sponsor be obligated to award any Incentive other than to
   the first 100 Survey participants who provide thoughtful answers the Survey
   questions.
 * The Sponsor does not guarantee that the Incentive can be made available to
   the participants.
 * The Incentive is not assignable or transferable and no substitutions are
   permitted.
 * If the Incentive is not able to be fulfilled to the Participants, or the
   Participants cannot claim the Incentive for any reason, Sponsor reserves the
   right, in its sole discretion, to not award the Incentive at all.
   
   

GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RELEASES
It is each Participant’s responsibility to comply with the contest laws of
his/her country and jurisdiction. Each country/jurisdiction may or may not have
laws regarding survey participation/incentives that prevent Sponsor from
awarding a Participant with the Incentive.

By entering this Survey, each Participant acknowledges that, based on the laws
of his/her country and jurisdiction, he/she may earn but may not be able to
collect the Incentive. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in
disqualification from the Survey and its Incentive. Sponsor reserves the right
to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated
these Official Rules.

Receiving the Incentive constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law)
to use participant’s name, images, likeness, and the Incentive awarded (all at
Sponsor’s discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now
or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional
compensation, notification or permission.

 * Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, and
   employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost,
   late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete
   or delayed entries; all of which will be void. Released Parties are also not
   responsible for problems related to technical malfunctions of electronic
   equipment, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware
   or software failures, phone lines, failure of any Entry to be received by
   Sponsor on account of technical problems, traffic, congestion on the internet
   or the website, or for any other technical problems including
   telecommunication, miscommunication or failure, and failed, lost, delayed,
   incomplete, garbled, or misdirected communications which may limit a
   Participant’s ability to take the Survey.
 * Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors or malfunctions of
   any kind, whether network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise
   relating to or in connection with the Survey, including, without limitation,
   errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration
   of the Survey, the processing or judging of Entries, the announcement of the
   Incentive or in any Survey-related materials. Mass entries generated by a
   script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified.
 * Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Survey in the
   event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically
   impaired, and to cancel or suspend the Survey in its entirety should
   tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other
   causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
   play of the Survey and, if terminated, at Sponsor’s discretion.  In the event
   of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same
   email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account at the time of
   Entry will be deemed to be the Participant and must comply with these
   Official Rules.
   
   Authorized subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the email address
   by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), online service provider, or other
   organization responsible for assigning email addresses. Sponsor reserves the
   right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and void his/her
   Entries) it finds to be tampering with the Entry process or the operation of
   this Survey or website, intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any
   other Participant, Sponsor, or any of its representatives or to otherwise be
   acting in violation of these Official Rules.
   
   CAUTION: Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately undermine the
   legitimate operations of the Survey (including but not limited to the
   employment of emulators, scripts, bots, visual APIs, screen capturing or
   recording software or otherwise) is a violation of criminal and civil laws.
   Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek
   damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent permitted by the law
   and to disqualify such Participant from the Survey. Sponsor’s failure to
   enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of
   that provision.
   
   ARBITRATION & CHOICE OF LAW
   Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this
   Survey, Participant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action
   arising out of or connected with this Survey, or any Incentives awarded,
   shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action
   lawsuit, The parties agree that any claim, dispute, or controversy arising
   out of or relating to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, that cannot
   otherwise be resolved in good-faith negotiations, shall be resolved through
   Arbitration. The parties shall mutually agree on the selection of one
   arbitrator who is unrelated to either party. The arbitrator’s costs shall be
   borne equally by both parties, and each party will be responsible for its own
   costs associated with preparation, discovery, and additional expenses to
   prosecute or defend an arbitration claim. The prevailing party in the
   arbitration proceeding will be entitled to recover its reasonable costs and
   attorney’s fees, in addition to any other relief granted as determined by the
   arbitrator. The arbitrator shall be bound by the express sections of this
   Agreement in deciding any arbitration claim. The arbitrator’s decision shall
   be final.
   
   LIST OF PARTICIPANTS AWARDED INCENTIVE
   By Jan 23, 2023, a list of Participates awarded the Incentives can be
   obtained by emailing information@ametek.com.
   
   This Survey and its incentive is in no way offered, sponsored, endorsed or
   administered by, or associated with, Amazon in the gift cards that are
   provided, nor by any Social Media website, mobile application, or any online
   survey technology that may be used by the Entrant or Sponsor in the course of
   this Survey.
