GETTING AN FBI BACKGROUND CHECK AND HAVING IT APOSTILLED

We apostille hundreds of FBI background checks every week. We will make sure
your forms are filled out correctly, go to the right government office, and that
you get your documents back on time. If you are planning on working, living,
adopting, getting married, or obtaining dual citizenship in a foreign country,
you will need to provide an Apostille on an FBI Criminal Background Check. We
expedite the process by hand-carrying each report to the U.S. Department of
State, where we request Apostilles in person.

Why do I need to apostille my FBI background check? The apostille is a document
that certifies the legality of the document that accompanies, in this case, the
FBI background check. The apostille is a separate document that is attached to
the FBI background check to verify that it is real and authentic.

If you’re planning to obtain new or dual citizenship, live or work in a foreign
country who is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, you will need to
present an FBI background check with an apostille.



OPTION 1 CHANNELING REPORT AVAILABLE IN 3 DAYS.

 * •   Step 1 Get fingerprinted using FBI Channeling Program
   Your first step is obtaining your FBI report or FBI background check.
   New York Fingerprinting and New Jersey Fingerprinting are Chanelling Partners
   with Accurate Biometrics.
 * •   Step 2 Have original “FBI watermarked report” shipped to you via UPS.
   You should order the FBI background check via Option 2 or 3 which is an
   original background check issued by the FBI. This background check is on
   original watermarked FBI paper and letterhead. Downloaded background checks
   from the internet portal are not accepted for Apostille purposes.
 * •   Step 3 Send us the original “FBI Report ” along with the completed
   Apostille Order Form filled out.
 * •   Step 4 We will contact you after receiving it and go over turnaround
   time.
 * •   Step 5 We hand deliver your FBI Report directly to the US Department of
   State. For security purposes the report never leaves our “chain of custody”.
 * •   Step 6 You will be assigned an Order Number. You can check the status of
   your documents any time by referencing this order number.
 * •   Step 7 Provide us with a return Fedex with the address you want the
   documents shipped to. We can also via our Fedex account ship the document at
   an additional cost.



OPTION 2 EDO PROGRAM REPORT AVAILABLE IN 8-10 DAYS

 * •   Step 1 Contact us to explain process and make an appointment for
   fingerprinting or use the following link to get started
   https://www.edo.cjis.gov/#/
 * •   Step 2 Application receipt must be submitted to the FBI Electronic
   Submission Division with completed fingerprint cards via UPS.
 * •   Step 3 Send us the original “FBI Report” along with the completed
   Apostille Order Form filled out.
 * •   Step 4 We will contact you after receiving it and go over turnaround
   time.
 * •   Step 5 We hand deliver your FBI Report directly to the US Department of
   State. For security purposes the report never leaves our “chain of custody”.
 * •   Step 6 You will be assigned an Order Number. You can check the status of
   your documents any time by referencing this order number.
 * •   Step 7 Provide us with a return Fedex with the address you want the
   documents shipped to. We can also via our Fedex account ship the document at
   an additional cost.



OPTION 3 STANDARD PROCESSING REPORT AVAILABLE IN 8-10 WEEKS.

 * •   Step 1 Mail completed Application and fingerprint cards along with $18
   fee to FBI via UPS or Fedex.
