* The AcalaQuell Mini is more than just a water filter system. It is a
complete, yet compact water treatment system. The water preparation follows
the principles of nature combined with the results of intensive R&D. The
multi-layered filtration ensures the highest water quality. Developed in
Japan and Germany PI-water preparation technology gives your drinking water
the qualities of natural spring water! Since no pressure is exerted on the
water, it has time to unfold like a good wine.
* Your drinking water passes through various stages until you have a mild, soft
water available. *** No dust, rust and no fine particles can pass by the
ceramic pre-filter.The ceramic filter was burnt with a patented process to a
highly compressed diametic structure. With a pore size of only 0.1-0.45
microns no bacteria is able to pass through and thus a more effective
protection from germs is given.
* *** In the second step, the water flows through the premium filter cartridge.
After purification through a special activated carbon and silver activated
charcoal, heavy metals, nitrates, hormones, drug residues and other unwanted
substances are removed or reduced by means of ion exchange. (Links to test
results in Product description section.) A layer of zeolite removes molecules
and tiny components with a strong positive charge. Thus, it acts as ultrafine
molecular sieve and catalyst.
* *** In the 3. step the water flows through a layer of alkaline bioceramic and
Calcium ions are discharged into the water. This shifts the pH slightly into
the alkaline range. *** Turmalin bioceramic in the 4. step has a catalytic
function and so strengthens the energetic properties in the cartridge ***
Then the water flows through quartz sand like a brook in nature. The natural
fresh and pure taste of the water returns.
* *** The water is then stored in a BPA free plastic reservoir with a capacity
of 5 litres. You can add mineral stones into this tank which can make the
water taste more aromatic or softer. The mineral stones also enrich the water
with essential minerals for the body and also affect the alkalinity. In
addition the stones reflect long wave infrared light, which can have a vital
influence on us.The result is delicious, soft and wholesome spring water.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The AcalaQuell Mini converts tap water into fresh, pure water. It restores
natural properties to your water, after having taken a long journey through
water pipes. Its activated carbon provides excellent protection against the
contamination in drinking water. Natural ingredients such as zeolite,
EM-bio-ceramic, tourmaline, silica sand, alkali-pearls and PI-technology restore
your drinking water to the freshness of a mountain stream. A tip: Use your
AcalaQuell water for cooking, spoil your plants and animals with it. You will
pleasantly surprised by the results.

PI-Technology:
The magnetic field of the earth supports the vitality of man. Many years of
experience has shown that natural magnetic fields have positive effects on life.
PI-magnetized water tends to adopt its natural hexagonal crystal structure. The
result is water, which is especially wholesome. PI describes a Japanese science
meaning "living water"
Acala bioceramic:
According to G.H. Pollack, University of Washington, the bioceramic strengthens
the formation of hexagonal structures in the water.
Calcium ions:
It is said in Japan that calcium ions in water lead to longevity.
Zeolite:
1 gram of zeolite has an inner surface of up to 1000 m2 and is therefore
extraordinarily able to absorb substances.
Features:
The 5 litre water reservoir is made of BPA free plastic. The lid and the base
are white. Dimensions: with a diameter of only 24 cm and a height of 47 cm, the
AcalaQuell Mini fits easily into any small corner. Upper tank: 2.5 litres; Lower
tank: 4 litres. The cartridge should be replaced every 4 months and the ceramic
filter once a year.
The AcalaQuell Mini comes complete with ceramic filter, premium filter
cartridge, mineral stones, an anthracite lid and base, the 2.5 litre upper tank,
the 5 litre lower tank and a white tap with washers.

the company which produces those. The heart of the filter systems, obviously is
its filter which is a good piece of kit. The rest of the Water Systems is all
plastic (so useful fo the environment), cheap in appearance and feel and for
what it is outrageously overpriced. The filter prices require frequent
replacements some in as short a time as 2 weeks

Super fast delivery from Germany... Fantastic product, as good if not better
tasting than any premium bottled water.
The mini looks great on the kitchen worktop, and we're very pleased with it. The
instructions aren't written in perfect English, but they are workable and
understandable and it's quite straightforward with minimal set up to get up and
running. I managed to get air trapped in the filter as I rushed the set up as I
was desperate to see how the water tasted, but there are FAQs to help if you get
initial niggles ironed out so after a few minutes of submerging the filter in
water and tapping it to remove the air we were up and running. I am quite bad at
remembering to drink enough water, but with the mini in the kitchen it reminds
me to stay hydrated. Our tap water is heavily chlorinated and I dread to think
what else lurks in there... The mini turns pretty vile flat tap into highly
drinkable lovely tasting H20. Awesome :o)
