DAINE BRYCE VERMAAK - SITE MANAGER

Daine is a qualified civil engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from
the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has worked in the construction
industry for almost 8 years. He has obtained his PMP accreditation with PMI for
Project Management as well as his MCIOB from The Chartered Institute of Building
for Construction management. His core competencies include project management,
coordination, communication, and problem-solving. He has successfully managed
sections of complex and high-value mega projects, such as SeaWorld Abu Dhabi,
the Natural History Museum on Saadiyat Island and Tower No. 9 Residencial tower
in Dubai Marina. He has also gained expertise in fitout and refurbishment of
luxury and cultural developments, such as the Dubai Airport and Galleria mall in
Abu Dhabi.

Daine’s role as a site manager includes overseeing construction teams, ensuring
effective communication, motivation, and challenge for team members, maintaining
a well-structured plan. This involves active participation in meetings with
stakeholders, such as clients, authorities, and consultants, to provide regular
updates on site progress. Daine also involves managing productivity to ensure
timely project completion and thorough measurement and recording of all work.
Daine also Collaborates with the Commercial Team to prepare and interpret
monthly cost reports, monitor construction costs, and address any
irregularities.

Having gained experience across a diverse range of projects and sectors, he can
readily adapt to any environment. He can readily adapt to any environment.
