The restoration of much of our nation’s forests relies on tree nurseries producing high quality, native seedlings. The Canadian Tree Nursery Association is the national voice for these tree nurseries. We advocate for and support this vital industry. Currently, tree nurseries in Canada produce and supply over 600 million tree seedlings for the purposes of reforestation. The Canadian Tree Nursery Association understands the importance of all the steps in the forest restoration supply chain needed to get from seed to healthy forest. A strong tree nursery sector, working with other key stakeholders, is essential for success in forest restoration now and in the future, in particular as a changing climate continues to impact our forests. Collectively, we are growing Canada’s future healthy forests.
