CONCERNED ABOUT IMPLEMENTING THE LATEST ANSI/AAMI ST91 STANDARDS?

Due to risks of associated infection outbreaks, reusable urological endoscopes
are now classified as "high-risk" in the latest ANSI/AAMI standards on
reprocessing flexible endoscopes. The new standards follow a recent FDA letter
to healthcare providers detailing a urological endoscope recall and underscoring
the proper reprocessing recommendations. Currently, reusable flexible
cystoscopes are one of the most common scopes still reprocessed via manual
disinfection — which the new ANSI/AAMI guidance recommends against.

Single-use cystoscopes are a novel and innovative solution not only to these

DUKE STUDY FAVORS ASCOPE CYSTO FOR STANDARD OF CARE

A recent independent study conducted at Duke University Hospital found that the
aScope Cysto demonstrated superior flexion and comparable optics to reusable
scopes already being used in hospital urology departments. Dr. Michael Lipkin, a
