Contemporary visual artist Biome is one of the emerging creatives on Canada
cultural stage active in Toronto and Montreal but also NYC, to closely watch.
Keen observator with a solid curiosity for the latest theoretical physics
discoveries, the artist is fascinated by the bio-cosmic subtle correspondances
(e.ge macro-cosmic galaxies superclusters vs micro-cosmic biological colonies).
Conceptually, the artist is contemporary situated but, in the same time, having
a deep understanding of our atavic behavioral archetypes.

Scientific concepts like hyperbolic space, theoretical manifolds, quantum
superposition, B-zed shapes, qualia, inspire the artist and manifest in his
creative territory.

Visual expressionism hidden under an appearance of realism.

Unconditional expressionist, this contemporary-by-nature process is often
misinterpreted as realistic representation as the art pieces do contain a strong
knowledge of academic methods. However, an experienced viewer will notice the
abstract side of this visual artistry. An initiatic voyage into the realm of
discovering that seeds, human figures, cosmic bodies etc. share a subtle and
often subliminal sacred geometry. There is also a clever mis-en-contrast between
bio/geological forms with the industrial age standardized shapes, which is meant
to challenge the pre concepts (prejudice) ruminating the mind of the viewer who
is seen as compice in re-discovering a common archetypal connecting field.
