ABOUT JKSF & EXTERMINATOR GOURMET HOT SAUCE

OUR STORY

J&K Specialty Foods is a small family owned business in central Ohio. The
president is a 40+ year Pest industry veteran. It is with great respect that we
dedicate "Exterminator" Gourmet Hot Sauce (GHS) to the hard working men and
women of the pest management industry. Protecting our homes, businesses and food
supply on a daily basis is not for the faint of heart. 




In the spring of 2009, a conversation began between two friends at lunch. While
dabbing a national brand hot sauce on our tacos, an idea was born to bring a
unique specialty gourmet food sauce to the masses. Let us introduce you to
master Chef Louie.




Exterminator GHS

Chef Louie set out to create this premium special Louisiana style hot sauce that
will rev up your senses and taste buds! Frequent applications of our
Exterminator Hot Sauce are recommended (No insects were used or harmed in the
making of this hot sauce) Life is too short to put up with bland infested food.
Enjoy with chicken wings, avocado toast, eggs, pizza, tacos etc. 




Exterminator 2 GHS

For our heat loving friends, Chef Louie created this version of "heat
treatment". Like its predecessor, Exterminator 2, it has the same great
Louisiana style flavor but, with added heat from the addition of Carolina Reaper
peppers and the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion peppers. Trust E2 when faced with heavy
"bland" infested foods. Enjoy with caution!!
















EXTERMINATING THE BLAND...

April 2017 - Alexandria, Ohio - Launch of JKSF 




May 2017 J&K introduces "Exterminator" Gourmet Hot Sauce. Top quality
ingredients with just the right amount of heat and spices are the primary
components.




July 2018 J&K introduces "Exterminator 2". A bolder and more satisfying flavor
with a significant increase in heat.




January 2019 J&K is awarded "Ohio Proud" Certification. 




September 2019 Supply chain and business adjustments




March 2020 - Covid-19 hit our family business hard. No production was possible
between August of 2019 and June 2021.  




June 2021 J&K announces the return of Exterminator and E2 production. Armed with
a new production partner, renewed business focus. To God be the glory.




October 2022 "People's Choice Award" Special ingredient used in chili that was
voted as "people's choice award".
