always a friendly and chatty visit when he made a business call. Our deepest

Shocked and deeply saddend by the passing of my long time friend. I will miss

Paul was my most trusted friend. Paul was always there for a question or a
problem. From the late 70's to present Paul has been my rock, always available,
always willing to help and always a plan with follow-up. Just days ago Paul
said, --- I can help you, I can take a course and I will guide you. I feel the
over powering loss of a once in a lifetime friendship of this exceptional
friend. My deepest Condolences Deb & Family, my prayers and thoughts are with

There are no words to describe how heartbroken we are at the loss of Uncle Paul.
My Uncle Paul has been my lifelong cheerleader and supported me and my family
through all of life's celebrations, challenges and losses. Uncle Paul graciously
and quietly made the loss of my own father and stepfather easier to accept and
he will be deeply missed in the lives of my husband and children. I will always
be grateful to him and cherish my many memories. To my Aunt Debbie, cousins,
their spouses and Grandchildren we are so incredibly sorry for your loss. We all

The family of Norman Paul Moffatt are devastated to announce his sudden passing,
on April 10, 2024 at the age of 68. Born in London, son of the late Norman and
Reta Moffatt.




Best friend and loving husband of 42 years to Debbie (Schellenberger). The best
and most supportive father of Teri-Lynn Moffatt and David Sims, Christopher and
Meaghan Moffatt, Abbey and David Bald, Kate and Calvin Jacobs. Proud Nonno of
William, Savannah, Samuel, Averie and Lennon. Brother to Judy Wakem and Dave
McLennan, and Greg and Heather Moffatt. Brother-in-law of Rona Wilson, Janet and
Jim McNichol, Sherry and Leo Van de Wetering, Frieda Schellenberger, and Wendy
and Mike Holman. Paul deeply valued his unique bond with each of his cousins,
friends, nieces and nephews, and their families.




Predeceased by brothers-in-law Pete, Doug and Mark Schellenberger, Dennis
Wilson, and Warren Stanfield, mother-in-law and father-in-law Violet and Ralph
Cook, Ron and Doris Schellenberger.




We are tremendously saddened by the sudden loss of such a wonderful man. We find
peace knowing that he left such a positive impact on the lives of so many.




Visitation for family and friends will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home,
430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, April 14, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. The
funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 15, at 11 AM.




To honour Paul’s continued love for teaching and learning, his family would
appreciate donations made in his memory to the Automotive Shop at Stratford
District Secondary School. Cheques payable to “Avon Maitland District School
Board” or you can send an e-transfer to awards@ed.amdsb.ca. Please include in
the note: “Stratford DSS Auto Shop Program, in memory of Paul Moffatt."
