Text Engagement and 10DLC: FAQ Document Attached

 

What is 10DLC?

10DLC refers to a new U.S. cellular system that allows businesses to send
Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code
(10DLC) phone numbers. Carriers in the U.S. consider all communications sent
through the iCIMS Text Engagement product to be A2P. Carriers’ A2P 10DLC
offerings provide better delivery quality and reduced filtering compared to
existing long codes, and allow customers to retain their phone numbers.

 

iCIMS partners with Vonage and Twilio, as those organizations provide the phone
numbers and messaging APIs for use with the iCIMS Text Engagement product. In
order to register, iCIMS subscribers with an active iCIMS Text Engagement
subscription will need to register via a web form linked within the iCIMS Text
Engagement manager or admin user experience.
