21 DAYS IN MY ART WORLD: DAY 2

I’m participating (after the fact) in Tara Leaver’s 21 Days in My Art World
challenge.

EYEBURNER 2

Fluoro acrylic on 32x32cm card

A continuation of an idea I had here.

I made a few more, but this was the only one I was reasonably happy with.

21 DAYS IN MY ART WORLD: DAY 1

I’m late to the party on this, but I’ve been really enjoying Tara Leaver’s
Artnotes, and I like the range of prompts for her art challenge, so I thought
I’d give it a go.

I likely won’t do this in consecutive days, but I’ll work through it as I can
and probably share other stuff in between.

A COUPLE OF DRAWINGS FROM LAST YEAR

Trees at Parrs Park, Oratia Oaia Island from Muriwai Beach

I drew these from life in October last year (and made a few minor tweaks today).
I didn’t post them anywhere at the time, but I quite like them, so I thought I’d
share them now. They’re both graphite on paper.

THREE UNHELPFUL WORDS

> There are three words I see all the time online that make me want to stick a

> The reason I dislike these three words is that they prevent people from

> Grow your audience.

John’s right. And I’m kinda glad I couldn’t stomach rejoining a social network
recently. It would have been a distraction away from what matters: developing my
skill and depth (and sensitivity to God) as an artist.

I also like this idea of building a world instead of building an audience.
