4-H ZIMBABWE



4-H Zimbabwe Foundation was premised around empowering youth to be responsible,
caring and contributing leaders that effect positive change in the world around
them. Resultant, the specific mandate of 4-H Zimbabwe is on nurturing youth in
Zimbabwe around agricultural, economic, technological and social issues through
five (5) specified thematic areas namely:

 1. Sustainable Agriculture , Livelihoods and food security,
 2. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics,
 3. Health living and environment,
 4. Global exchange
 5. Carrier Guidance and Support

SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE, LIVELIHOODS, CLIMATE CHANGE, ADAPTATION AND FOOD

4-H Zimbabwe harnesses innovation and energy of youth in rural and peri-urban
agricultural communities to cultivate a strong understanding of and enthusiasm
for Zimbabwe’s agricultural practices


CARRIER SUPPORT

4-H Zimbabwe career support programs are tailor-made to orient 4-Her’s on
employment opportunities in agriculture, business development along agriculture
value chains, creating business relationships and financial literacy


STEM – SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS

4‑H STEM programs provide 4‑H youth the opportunity to learn about Science,
Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through fun, hands-on activities and
projects.


YOUTH ENGAGEMENT AND FOOD SECURITY




GLOBAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

4-H Zimbabwe endeavours to connect with 4-H clubs around the world and
facilitate exchange visits for club leaders to promote global connections,
diversity, innovation and learning by doing.
