Enrollment Requirements ABOUT US To provide meaningful and responsive educational programs and environments to address our community’s interest while preparing for and nurturing high academic achievement with our students. At Cornerstone Charter High School, we offer over 20 years of serving families and the students within our community. BUILD SMART GENERATION Encourage students to apply communication, critical thinking and analysis skills to problem solving and decision making HIGHER LEARNING CHARTER Our curriculum, instructional resources, and methodology are continuously reviewed and updated by our faculty to meet the needs of student learners. ACADEMIC BENEFITS: * Classes are available five days a week, Monday – Friday. * Three schedule options: 8:00am - 1:45pm, 8:59am - 2:45pm, 9:58am - 2:45pm * Switch to one of our nine classrooms every 57 minutes. * 20 Students to 1 teacher ratio per classroom. * 180 days of school. * Earn work study and/or prom/yearbook committee credit. * Accelerated graduation plan by taking extra classes to earn up to 8 credits each year. * Exceptional Student Services provided. * Blended Learning model using teacher led direct instruction and computer curriculum. SCHOOL EXPERIENCE: * Student of the month awards and gifts. * High School Prom with free prom dresses, shoes, and accessories available. * Formal cap and gown Graduation ceremony in May. * Fall and Spring Spirit Weeks and a high school yearbook. * Free Lunch and Breakfast provided, no cost for all students. * Monthly Reduced Bus Passes available. * College and Career Advisement and Counseling with FAFSA assistance. * Work program job search and application services available. * Guidance Counselors for every student. * Art and Music classes offered.
