The Feel the Magic Journey


ATTENDING A CAMP IS LIKE JOINING A FAMILY WHO GETS WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH.

At Feel the Magic, we have a range of face to face and virtual camps, so we can
help grieving kids heal – no matter where they are.

This is where your kids begin their journey.

A lot of kids are uneasy about talking about their grief. Virtual camps are a
good starting point, because they feel safe at home and can walk away from the
computer if it all gets too much and they know the other kids in the session are
just like them.

Best of all, you’re able to be there right beside them, to learn with them and
support them.

A transformational weekend where kids work together on fun physical challenges,
and also learn vital skills for healing and coping with grief.

Every kid is matched with a Mentor who make kids feel safe by being a constant
source of support and guidance.

‘Campers’ leave ready to face the road ahead, with a circle of friends and a
Mentor for life –  knowing that they’re strong enough to live with grief and
heal.

Your kids will know they can always return to Camp Magic – and you’ll see them
truly smile again.

Learn about the psychology behind childhood grief, connect with parents,
guardians and carers just like you and join a community of people who get what
you’re going through.

The next step in your Feel the Magic journey, this camp brings together families
grieving the loss of a loved one, for a day of enjoyable activities and
opportunities to meet and talk about life with grief.

You’ll walk away as a stronger family unit that’s ready to move forward together
– knowing that you’ve got a new community to lean on when things get tough.

Created specifically for kids who are grieving the suicide of a loved one, LTS
teaches kids how to heal from the guilt, shame and blame that often comes with
suicidal grief.

Developed in collaboration with clinical psychologists, the NSW Ministry of
Health, leading suicide support organisations, and those with a lived
experience.
