Although our financial report is always sent free to anyone requesting a copy,
certain States require us to advise you that a copy of our financial report is
available from them.


The American Cancer Society (“ACS”) is a New York not-for-profit corporation
that is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated
to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving
lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education,
advocacy and patient service programs. Our Global Headquarters is located at 250
Williams Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. The information enclosed describes one or
more of ACS’s activities. Your gift is very much appreciated and tax deductible
as a charitable contribution to the fullest extent allowed by law. A copy of

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY DISCLOSURE

Charitable gift annuities are offered to U.S. residents by the American Cancer
Society, Inc., in all states. The act of establishing a gift annuity with the
ACS is not, and should not be viewed as, an investment. Payments made under
charitable gift annuities are not insured or otherwise guaranteed by any
government entity. The annuity payments are a general obligation of the ACS and
they are backed solely by the full faith and credit of the ACS. Charitable gift
annuity rates vary according to age and are subject to change.
