McMaster University’s IT community includes an engaged and diverse set of
professionals who support and enable the teaching, learning, research and
administrative activities of the campus. Technology is embedded in most
institutional activities and this will only become more pronounced in the years
ahead. With the support of strong IT Governance decision-making structures and
the commitment to an enterprise-wide IT vision, we can create effective IT
services delivery models and streamlined implementation and continuous
improvement processes. At the core of our success will be our shared desire to
make the necessary strategic investments in technologies, services and, most
importantly people, to provide the best value for our institution.

This is an exciting time to be part of the McMaster University Information
Technology Community, as we commit to making improvements and adopting changes
to our information technology landscape. It is an honour to support and lead the
IT community as we embrace these changes to meet the advancing needs of our
stakeholders on campus: students, staff, faculty, researchers and all who
interact with McMaster. Our dedication to service and our commitment to
collaboration and cooperation will provide the foundation for achieving success.

It is my great pleasure to be a part of an amazing University and an inspiring
and accomplished McMaster team.
