On December 28, 2020 the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security)
Act changed, making the ERC the most lucrative tax credit in U.S. history, and
allowing companies that already took the PPP to also potentially qualify for the
ERC.

Gross Receipts Test: has your business experienced a 50% decline in gross
receipts in 2020, or a 20% decline in gross receipts in 2021, as compared to the
same calendar quarter in 2019? 

 

Government Orders Test: was your trade or business fully or partially suspended
due to a governmental order as a result of COVID-19?
