Perfect Trail Runners in Cold Weather
I am a Brooks devotee and have traditionally worn their road runners because of
the comfort. While I live in a cold and icy environment, I had yet to find a
running shoe that was comfortable AND made for the trail. While initially
hesitant because of the pink coloring on the toe, I have gotten over the
showiness because of how light and comfortable these shoes are. They feel like
my road runners but give me stability and confidence on the trails in the

I trail run about 2-3 times a week. I’ve tried a few different brands of shoes.
When I first put these shoes on the fit was snug. I knew I had to break them in
a little bit. I walked around the house with them at first. They’re very light
and have great support. The bottom tread is solid. I run on dirt on a hiking

Catamount 3, the new runners!
As a cross country runner, I can say that the Brooks Catamount 3 is a new
supreme shoe for me! The Catamount's have really great features, especially if
you are a runner!

I wasn't sure about the neon pink when I first tried these on, but I've come to
appreciate the retro look. I've received a lot of compliments on them. "Look at

Phenomenal shoes!
I'm a casual runner in a very rural area. There are paved roads for part of my
run but for the most part I have as much of an off road but light hike as I do a
run which I prefer. For at least my terrain, these are perfect. They're light
weight, fit so well, and have a great tread even when conditions are wet. A lot
of my area has red clay roads which I no longer have to avoid in these shoes.

Love these shoes
The Brooks Catamount 3 running shoes are beautiful. These shoes are so nice. The
material is breathable and feels kind of like mesh but they're thicker than just
mesh. They fit me perfectly. I normally get size 8 and that's what I got in
these shoes and they're just right. They are comfortable and have nitrogen
infused cushioning for comfort. The SkyVault plate helps to propel you uphill.
