premium-quality building worth every penny. Our service and expertise are
commendable, but it’s our exceptional craftsmanship and the superior grade of
our materials that distinctly separate us from our competitors. Should you

HOW?

AFAB’S CLASSIC Building has a truss bearing on one ply of the laminated post and
fastened to the truss with a ½” bolt. We employ a superior truss connection
system by increasing the truss heel heights and fastening with two ½” bolts.
Each post and truss are 4ft on-centre on the side walls, while end wall posts
are spaced up to a maximum of 6ft on-centre and are full length to top cord of
truss. Also, our ULTRAPOSTS are glued with 3,500psi applied while being
mechanically fastened. The building has a truss bearing on every laminated post
that are buried 6ft and tamped with crushed rock. Meanwhile, Permanent Wood
Foundation (PWF) treated lumber is used in the below grade portion of the
column. No Building Like It. 



All strapping joints are staggered for superior strength and durability. All
exterior roof and wall strapping is #2 and better kiln dried spruce to meet the
highest standards of strength and appearance. All cladding is fastened with #14
x 1¼” metal to wood grips with neoprene washers. Our unique custom flashing
system covers all exposed lumber on door headers. Every step in the AFAB
building process is designed to exceed building codes. No Building Like It.

Before build, customize your building with a variety of colours and door styles,
including Overhead, Bi-fold, and Sliding. Our superior quality materials consist
of 28ga hi-tensile exterior and interior cladding with 26ga options available,
#14 fasteners, and 40 year warranty on coloured cladding. No Building Like It.
