MCC BOARD APPROVES GRANTS FOR LESOTHO, KENYA TO DRIVE SUSTAINABLE, INCLUSIVE
ECONOMIC GROW

The Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) Board of Directors held its
quarterly meeting March 31 and voted to approve two grant programs — a $300
million Lesotho Compact and a $60 million Kenya Threshold Program.


THE UNITED STATES SUPPORT OF ECOWAS AND AFRICAN UNION ACTIONS ON BURKINA FASO

The United States supports the actions announced by the African Union on January
31 and the actions taken by the Economic Community of West African States
(ECOWAS) on January 28 in defense of democracy and the rule of law in Burkina
