PRODUCT INFORMATION


CARDIAC

 1. Amlodio 2.5/5mg– Composition : Amlodipine 2.5/5mg

Uses of Amlodio 2.5/5mg :

 * Used for treating Hypertension and Coronary Heart Disease.
 * Well tolerated with Antihypertensive and antianginal agents
 * Significant risk reduction (31.6%) in predicted CHD risk as monotherapy and
   add on therapy
 * Significant reduction in BP. Newly detected hypertensives : 28.88/15.25mmHg,
   Previously diagnosed : 29.27/16.16 mmHg
 * Dosage range:

 1. Adult patients: 5-10mg dose daily
 2. Elderly patients: 2.5mg dose daily
 3. Pediatric: 2.5-5mg daily dose range
 4. Amlodio A – Composition : Amlodipine 5mg + Atenolol 50mg

Uses of Amlodio A :

 * Used for Hypertension and Hypertension related with Angina.
 * Greater reduction in Ischemic episodes by 72%
 * Superior antihypertensive efficacy: Reduced BP by 20.6/10.34 mmHg by 4 weeks
   over monotherapy
 * Effectively reduces the angina episode frequency by 0.9 by 4 weeks
 * The recommended dosage is one tablet of Amlodipine plus Atenolol daily. If
   necessary, the dosage may be increased to two tablets daily     

 3. Ramidi 5.0 – Composition : Ramipril 5mg

Uses of Ramidi 5 :

 * Ramipril is an ace inhibitor
 * Effective Antihypertensive efficacy: Reduced the BP by 19.9/14.7mmHg by 8
   weeks under monotherapy1
 * Ramipril lowered the risk of the combined primary outcome by 25% 2
 * Dosage:

 1. Hypertension: Initial dose is 2.5 mg to 20 mg once daily.
 2. Reduction in the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, or death from
    cardiovascular causes: 2.5 mg once daily for 1 week, 5 mg once daily for 3
    weeks.
 3. Heart failure post-myocardial infarction: Starting dose of 2.5 mg twice
    daily. 
 4. Ramidi H5– Composition : Ramipril 5mg + Hydrochlorthiazide 12.5mg

Uses of Ramidi H5 :

 * Ramipril 5mg + Hydrochlorthiazide 12.5 mg reduces BP by 17.8/10.9 mmHg within
   6 weeks of dosage
 * The combination produces significantly greater blood pressure reductions than
   their respective components
 * Used for treatment of Hypertension and Cardiovascular Risk Reduction.
 * Dosage: The following dosage applies in the absence of special circumstances
   defined below:
   Usual initial dosage: 2.5mg ramipril/12.5mg hydrochlorothiazide daily. If
   necessary, the dose may be increased at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks.
 * Maximum permitted daily dose: 10 mg ramipril / 50mg hydrochlorothiazide.
 * Generally, it is recommended that the daily dose be administered in the
   morning as a single dose.
   In most cases, blood pressure will fall sufficiently after 2.5 mg
   ramipril/12.5mg hydrochlorothiazide to 5 mg ramipril/25 mg
   hydrochlorothiazide.

 5. Teldit 40– Composition : Telmisartan 40mg

Uses of Teldit 40:

 * Can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
 * Telmisartan is indicated for reduction of the risk of myocardial infarction,
   stroke, or death from cardiovascular causes in patients 55 years of age or
   older at high risk of developing major cardiovascular events who are unable
   to take ACE inhibitors

 6. Teldit H– Composition : Telmisartan 40mg + Hydrochlorthiazide 12.5mg

Uses of Teldit H :

 * This combination leads to reduction in BP by 20.3/10.7 mm Hg.
 * Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are combination of two drugs with
   antihypertensive properties: a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide, and an
   angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), telmisartan.
 * The combination of these ingredients has an additive antihypertensive effect,
   reducing blood pressure to a greater degree than either component alone.
 * Usual Dosage: Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 to 25 mg-Telmisartan 80 mg orally once
   a day
   Maximum dose: Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg-Telmisartan 160 mg orally once a day




GI CARE

 1. Prozonix 40– Composition : Pantoprazole 40mg

Uses of Prozonix 40:

 1. Short term treatment of Erosive Esophagitis Associated with GERD.
 2. Maintenance of Healing of Erosive Esophagitis
 3. Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions Including Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

About Prozonix 40 :

 * Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor.
 * Serum Gastric Effects: Over a period of 4 weeks, increased the Gastrin levels
   by 35%.
 * Effect of Single Daily dose of Oral Pantoprazole on Intragastric pH

 2. Prozonix D –Composition : Pantoprazole 40mg + Domperidone 30mg

Uses of Prozonix D:

 * Used to treat Gastro-esophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison
   syndrome.
 * Pantoprazole + Domperidone: Well tolerated combination that improves the
   quality of life of GERD patients.
 * Superior Efficacy : In GERD patients, Cure rate of 95% within 6 weeks

 3. Rabintes DSR– Composition : Rabeprazole 20mg + Domperidone 30mg

Uses of Rabintes DSR :

 * Used in the treatment of GERD.

 2. Minimizes dosage dumping.

 * Domperidone: Effectively alleviates symptoms of chronic post prandial

 1. Glycolo 500/1000 mg– Composition : Metformin Hydrochloride 500/1000mg

In Treatment of Meniere’s disease

Vertin 16 Tablet improves blood flow to the inner ear which reduces the pressure
of excess fluid there. It is this pressure that is thought to cause the symptoms
of nausea, vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in your ears), and hearing
loss in people who have Ménière’s disease. This medicine makes the symptoms
milder and reduces the number of times you get the symptoms. 

It will be more effective if you take this medicine regularly as prescribed so
try not to miss doses. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any
improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better until your doctor
advises it is safe to stop.

   3. Mixed Infections of the urethra and cervix due to Chlamydia trachomatis
      and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
   4. Complicated urinary tract infections due to Escherichia coli, Klebsiella
      pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Citrobacter diversus*, or Pseudomonas
      aeruginosa*.

     with dientamoebiasis1

   1.   Mean number of watery stool per day was reduced from 9.273 to 1.375
   2. Pretreatment symptom nausea was significantly reduced in 90.34% of
      patients.
   3. Improvement in vomiting symptoms was reported in 72.35%
   4. 84% and 77.25% of patients reported improvement in abdominal pain and
      gas/flatulence respectively
   5. At the end of the trial, 98.43% of patients reported good to excellent and
      1.56% reported poor efficacy.

   3. Zonoflex Plus– Composition : Ofloxacin 200mg + Cefixime 200mg
   
   Product Information : Zonoflex-Plus Tablet is a combination medicine that is
   used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the
   microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection.
   
   Zonoflex Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as
   per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be
   taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy.
   
   4. Nyomox 500 –Composition : Amoxycillin Trihydrate 500mg
   * Used in the treatment of the following: Infections of the ear, nose,
     throat, genitourinary tract, skin and skin structure, and lower respiratory
     tract.
   * In combination for treatment of H. pylori infection and duodenal ulcer
     disease.
   * Excellent clinical cure rates (90.1%) in treatment of CAP.
   * Clinical Efficacy (95%) in treatment of children with acute otitis media
     with effusion1
   * Treatment of beta-hemolytic streptococcus in 91.7% of the patients with
     insignificant relapse rate




RESPIRATORY

 1. Mentolin LC– Composition :  Montelukast 10mg + Levocetirizine 5mg

Mentolin LC Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergic
symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, watery
eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also reduces inflammation in the airways
and make breathing easier.
Mentolin LC Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as
advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and
how you respond to the medicine.

Uses of Mentolin LC :

 * Treatment ofSneezing and runny nose due to allergies
 * Treatment ofHay fever
 * Treatment ofAllergic Skin Reactions

 2. Mentolin FX –Composition : Montelukast 10mg + Fexofenadine 120mg

Product Introduction : Mentolin FX Tablet is a combination medicine used in the
treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery
eyes, and congestion or stuffiness.
Mentolin FX Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as
advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and
how you respond to the medicine. 

Uses of Mentolin FX :

 * Treatment of Sneezing and Runny Nose due to allergies.


COUGH SYRUP

 1. Hadpuff +  – Composition : Bromhexine 2mg + Guaifenesin 50mg + Menthol 0.5mg
    + Terbutaline 1.25mg

Hadpuff + is used in the treatment of cough.  It thins mucus in the nose,
 windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also produces a sensation
of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Hadpuff + is taken with or
without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are
given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine.

 2. Hadpuff LS – Composition : Ambroxol 30mg + Levosalbutamol 1mg + Guaifenesin
    50mg

 

Used In Treatment of Cough with mucus. Hadpuff LS Syrup gives relief from cough
with mucus. It helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This
makes breathing easy and reduces the frequency of coughing. Hadpuff LS Syrup
will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or
throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and
gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.
