Simon Goo
ED & Head of Group Risk Analytics Division, UOB

Simon leads a multi-disciplinary risk analytics team that oversees
enterprise-wide risk management models at United Overseas Bank. The team
validates a wide range of risks and measurement models. Those models can be used
to assess and manage credit, market and balance sheet risks across the bank’s
global business.

Prior to joining the bank, Simon held senior corporate positions in technology
and finance related companies in areas such as strategic planning, private
equity investments and mergers and acquisitions. He has also worked with
promising enterprises to assess the potential of their technologies for product
commercialization and strategic investment.

Simon holds a PhD in the field of decision control systems from the University
of Newcastle- upon-Tyne (UK). He received an IChemE Jubilee prize for his
research applying Statistical and Artificial Intelligence Methodologies for
on-line fault detection and diagnosis in 1997.

Simon was part of the banks’ Innovation Workgroup member to bring The Finlab to
launch and he had been a mentor in The FinLab. He was part of the judging panel
in the Global Fintech Hackcelerator. Simon serves as a member in the Product
Program Committee and the Alt-Chair person in the Valuation Adjustments working
group in the bank.

Bernard Aw
Chief Economist, APAC, Coface

Bernard Aw is the Chief Economist for Asia Pacific region at Coface. In this
role, he leads macroeconomic and country risk analysis of the Asia Pacific
region, and manages the regional economic research team. He is a member of the
region’s senior management, and contributes macroeconomic insights to the
Group’s risk decision-making process.

Prior to joining Coface in Singapore, he was Principal Economist at IHS Markit.
His other previous roles include Market Strategist for IG Asia and Regional
Economist at 4CAST. Bernard has also conducted research on trade and economic
issues at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs. Bernard holds a
M.Sc. in Economics from the Singapore Management University and a B.Sc. in
Economics and Finance from the University of London.

Selena Ling
Head of Treasury Research and Strategy, OCBC Bank

Selena is the Chief Economist for OCBC Bank. As Head of Treasury Research &
Strategy, she leads a research team that is responsible for Treasury market
research, forecasts and trading recommendations for the bank, covering fixed
income, interest rates, corporate credit, foreign exchange and macroeconomic
commentary.

She is a member of the OCBC Wealth Panel for Singapore and Malaysia, as well as
a council member for the Economic Society of Singapore. She was conferred the
IBF Fellow Award in Financial Markets in 2017. The IBF Fellow award recognises
industry veterans who have demonstrated mastery of a profession and exemplify
thought leadership and commitment to industry development. Her research writings
has been extensively quoted and published by prominent media across print,
television and radio.

Under her leadership, OCBC’s research capabilities have been greatly valued by
customers and highly ranked in surveys for interest rate research, FX research,
market coverage and Asian macroeconomic research in various forums including the
AsiaMoney Fixed Income and FX polls, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters polls,
amongst others.

Prior to joining OCBC in August 2000, Selena was with the Fiscal Policy Unit
under the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Economics Department in the Ministry
of Trade and Industry (MTI). She received her Bachelors of Science (Economics)
from the London School of Economics and also her Masters in Applied Economics
from the National University of Singapore.

Ayush Batra
Regional Director for Technology Enablement, Intel

Ayush Batra is the Regional Director for Technology Enablement within Intel’s
Sales and Marketing Group.

He is a Technical Specialist with over 20 years of experience helping customers
in their Digital Transformation journey with special focus on Cloud, AI and 5G.
He regularly represents Intel in various Industry forums such as VMWare CIO
Forum, ET Leadership Summit, TM Forum, etc. and has well established
trusted-advisor relationships with key technology decision makers in the region.
Ayush is passionate about delivering value based outcome using Intel Technology.

Prior to joining Intel, Ayush was the lead enterprise architect for one of the
largest Service Providers in APJ, wherein he led cross-cultural, geographically

Martim Rocha
Director and Global Head of Risk Banking Solutions, Risk Research and
Quantitative Solutions, SAS

Martim Rocha is the Global Head of the Risk Banking Solutions, as such he
manages a team of global experts on banking risk management, defining roadmaps
and priorities for SAS solutions and supporting customers all over the world on
their journey to take the best of the SAS solutions, from scoping and defining
the best approach for each business case to helping customers taking the SAS
solutions through implementation to be live as a production system.

Martim has published several papers and has spoken at several conferences around
the world on the topics of Risk Management in Banking, Risk and Finance
Integration, IFRS9/CECL, Regulatory Risk Management, ALM, Capital Planning ,
Scenario Based Analysis and Stress-testing. With SAS for more then 17 years, he
played the role of Strategic Advisor and Solution Designer on projects such as
Stress-testing on a G-Sib based in London; IFRS9 and Stress-testing at G-SIB
bank covering more than 60 locations worldwide; IFRS9 impairment at a couple of
Top 5 Nordic Bank covering 5 countries; IFRS9 full-scope at Top banks in UAE;
and IFRS9 impairment at more than a Top 5 South African Bank.

Martim has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry
on the topics of risk management, business analytics and data management. He has
designed and managed projects for banks, insurance firms and other financial
services companies in areas such as financial management, risk management,
predictive analytics, financial and sales performance, strategy management, and
customer analysis and segmentation. In addition, he was a lecturer for courses
on advanced decision support systems, data warehousing and data mining at the
Autonomous University of Lisbon and at the ISCTE Business School. Before joining
SAS, Martim was a partner on the Business Analytics focused consulting firm,
Noscitare where he led the delivery of many IT projects in financial services
companies. Martim has a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from
Nova SBE and has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from ISIG.

Kamran Khan
Managing Director, Head of ESG for Asia Pacific, Deutsche Bank

Kamran Khan is Deutsche Bank’s Head of ESG for Asia Pacific. In this newly
established client-facing role, he is responsible for defining and executing the
bank’s ESG strategy across all business divisions in Asia. He is a member of the
Global Sustainability Council of Deutsche Bank.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Khan established Infra-Tech Capital, an
impact fund investing in companies utilizing technology to provide
infrastructure services and achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals. He was
also appointed by the Obama White House to serve as the head of global
investments and operations at the US Millennium Challenge Corporation, where he
managed a USD 10bn portfolio and led a USD 1.5-2bn annual investment program
globally.

Previously, Mr. Khan held senior executive roles at the World Bank and helped
establish the World Bank Group regional hub in Singapore, comprising the World
Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Multilateral Insurance &
Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Prior to his time at the World Bank, Mr. Khan worked on
M&A transactions and advisory mandates at JP Morgan and LEK. He also served as a
US Foreign Service Officer with the US Agency for International Development
(USAID), where he led operations for the project finance and guarantees
facility.

Mr. Khan served as an Advisor on Infrastructure Finance to APEC, ASEAN, and the
G-20. He is a member of the Senior Advisory Board at Fudan University Fintech
Centre in Shanghai with a mandate to advise on Belt and Road Initiative
projects. He has also served on the Board of Advisors at a variety of
market-leading companies using technology to achieve ESG goals. He is a frequent
speaker at events such as World Economic Forum, ASEAN Summit, APEC Summit, and
in major international media.

Mr. Khan holds an MBA from the Booth School of Business at University of
Chicago, and an MS in Applied Economics and Master of Government Administration
from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his BS in Economics from George
Mason University.

Jed Khoo
Group Head, Process & Conduct Risk, OCBC Bank

Jed Khoo is Group Head of Process & Conduct Risk at OCBC, where he oversees the
Group’s process controls and risk assessment regime and manages conduct-related
risk matters.

He has over 25 years of experience in financial services across 1LOD, 2LOD, 3LOD
and external audit. These diverse roles were in UBS, BNP Paribas Wealth
Management and PwC. Just prior to OCBC, Jed ran his own risk consulting
practice. He has also spoken at Singapore Management University and
adjunct-lectured at the Singapore Institute of Technology on risk and internal
audit.

Jed studied at Yale School of Management, Singapore Management University (MSc.
in Wealth Management) and Nanyang Technological University (Ba. Accountancy) and
is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Amit Bansal
Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategic Initiatives of Enterprise Risk
Management, Standard Chartered Bank

Amit is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategic Initiatives of Enterprise
Risk Management and is responsible for the execution of the functional strategy
and agenda across the ERM portfolio at Standard Chartered Bank. He heads the
Enterprise Risk Management Centre-of-Excellence, based in India, Malaysia and
Poland. The CoE provides risk management services across 10+ Principal &
Integrated Risk Types.

He has held a variety of roles, ranging from risk management, product
management, sales & investment advisory and business management. Prior to Risk
Management at SCB, he worked in Private Banking and was responsible for
positioning discretionary portfolios with U-HNW clients, with a special focus on
sustainable finance and “triple bottom line”. Prior to SCB, he worked at Credit
Suisse within the Investment Banking Risk Management division and has led
delivery on Basel Regulatory Framework projects.

Amit holds a Bachelors in Engineering from University of California, Masters in
Business Administration from Asian Institute of Management, and Executive
Management in Strategy from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania. Amit is based
in Singapore.

Lu Yin
Principal Risk Advisor, SAS

Lu Yin’s primary focus at SAS is on the measurement and management of
Non-Financial Risks, such as Model Risk, Operational Risk, and Data Risk to name
a few. She has extensive experience working across the ASEAN region gained
through working as a Quantitative Analyst at KPMG & Accenture. She’s also
previously worked in house at Standard Chartered Bank as a Model Validator
(focusing on Market & Liquidity Risks). She holds a PhD in Quantum Physics and
is experienced in risk management and quantitative modeling.

Dr. Frederick Shen
Senior Advisor, OCBC

Dr. Frederick Shen is Senior Vice President and Head of Business Management for
Global Treasury, OCBC Bank, leading to strengthen the infrastructure, processes,
monitoring and analytics to tackle the increasing regulatory and risk
requirements, all the while enabling the markets business for strategic growth
in countries we currently operate in while planning for the future. He also
leads the Global Treasury FinTech strategy employing new and innovative
technology solutions to deliver Treasury products to clients and to enhance
productivity and efficiencies within the organisation.  Additionally, he is the
chair of the OCBC Group iBOR Project Committee leading the organisation though
the transition. Fred re-joined OCBC in mid-2013 from Emirates NBD, Dubai, where
he headed up the Group Market Risk unit. Prior to the Middle East assignment, he
was with OCBC Bank Market Risk for 3+ years, and appointed its Head of Market
Risk in 2011.

Fred started his career as a Professor of Finance at the University of Waterloo,
Canada, before joining the financial industry, starting with global risk
oversight of the financial engineering trading group at RBC Capital Markets.
With over 25 years in the financial industry, his extensive experience includes
assignments with various global financial institutions and specialisations,
including structured credit and real-asset securitizations at a privately held
investment bank, Head of bank-wide economic/risk capital and risk
modelling/analytics at Bank of Montreal, and Head of life insurance and asset
management risk management at Manulife. Fred has a PhD in Financial Economics.
