Our Most Durable Fly Sheet Available
The Dura-Mesh Adjusta-Fit® Plaid Fly Sheet is our most durable fly sheet,
designed to hold up to your most playful horse! Made of our toughest 1000 heavy
polyvinyl-coated mesh fabric, we consider this the "workhorse of fly sheets".
Not only does it withstand the demands of turnout while providing 70% UV
protection, but it's also proven effective against medium to large biting
insects, such as deer flies, greenheads, and horse flies. The durable open-weave
mesh material also allows natural airflow to flow through, so your horse will
stay cool in the sun.
What's the Difference Between Fits?
This fly sheet is available in two patented fits: VTEK® Wither Relief and
V-Free® Wither Relief.
Our VTEK ® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve
pressure on moderate to high withers. The upright shoulder and shape over the
withers are designed to fit Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Appendix horses, or those
with upright shoulder conformation. It includes an extended drop to cover a
deeper heartgirth and they are shaped with darts at the hips to give a more
contoured fit around the rump. Extends 6 to 8 inches onto the mane with fleece
placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing.
Our V-Free® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve
pressure on low to moderate-withered horses. With the larger neck opening and
sloped neck line that covers the shoulders, this fit is designed specifically
for Arabians, Quarter Horses, Stock breed horses, or those with sloped shoulder
conformation. The drop on these sheets is longer than a stable sheet, allowing a
slight wrap around the barrel. Darts at the hip form a contoured fit around the
rump. V-Free® Wither Relief sheets begin where the mane ends, leaving the mane
uncovered with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing
rubbing.

Adjusta-Fit® Your Sheet for the Perfect Fit!
From the widest Warmblood to the narrowest Thoroughbred, our patented
Adjusta-Fit® system allows you to customize the fit of the neck opening to fit
any horse. Whether your horse is wide or narrow or has a high or low head
carriage doesn't matter. This unique feature allows you to fit any width or head
carriage, saving money and time when blanketing your horses.
An Open Front Design with Front Snaps for Easy On and Off
The open front design features double front snaps with hook and loop closures,
allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of "snugness"
at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.
Shoulder Area Designed to Prevent Rubs
The shoulder and chest area is lined with 70D breathable nylon that keeps hair
slick and prevents rubbing.
Better Gusset Design for Additional Freedom
The reinforced gussets extend higher and more forward to allow a greater range
of motion when your horse is getting up from lying down, walking, or playing in
the pasture.
Closure Options for Better Protection
Choose between a surcingle or bellyband closure for comfort and protection, with
brass-plated hardware that resists corrosion from fly sprays and detergents.
The criss-cross surcingle closure option adjusts to keep the fly sheet from
sliding side to side. Comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps
for increased security.
The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the
sensitive underbelly line. Hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking
while your horse is lying down, and the rear surcingle includes a stretch panel
for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug
and flush to the belly.
Large Tail Cover for Extra Protection
The extra-long tail cover provides additional protection from flies attacking
the sensitive area underneath the tail.
Reflective Patches to Find Your Horse in the Dark
Easily locate your horse when it's dark outside with the highly reflective 3M
patches placed strategically on the rear flanks and tail cover.
Leg Straps Included
Set the sheet at the optimum snugness with the included detachable leg straps
that help keep the sheet in place. They adjust from 20" to 38" and stretch as
the horse moves with double brass-plated snaps for easy on and off.
3-Year Limited Warranty

I love this fly sheet! My mare is a stocky Paint horse with shoulders like a
linebacker. She had a fly sheet with shoulder panels but it still was way too
tight. This fly sheet is super adjustable and durable. She can bend her neck all
the way down to eat without being choked. She loves it!

more open mesh fabric. The best protection against gnats and mosquitoes would be
the Mosquito Mesh fly sheets, which uses a fine mesh fabric much like that of a

covers all manufacturer defects such as stitching coming undone, rips on seams,
torn straps, or broken hardware. Unfortunately, horse damage is not covered
under the warranty. Result of horse damage will require a €37.00 replacement

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OPEN AND CLOSED FRONT DURA-MESH FLY SHEET?

between the two sheets is the closed front has no opening in the front and slips
over your horse's head while the open front sheet opens and closes with hardware

HOW TO MEASURE A HORSE FOR A BLANKET
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to
measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse
square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to
the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their
shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your
horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number
of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.
