HALF DAY ATHENS TOUR

Discover the archaic beauty of the Parthenon, get a chance to snap a photograph

Off we go! Your driver will take you up to the beginning of the footpath heading
for the hill. From there she will explain to you which way to walk so as to
avoid the main crowds (who likes tourists anyways?). Your entrance fee to the
site will already be paid, so just walk right in!

The Parthenon. Once inside the Acropolis, it is time to get up close and
personal with all the history! Take this opportunity to understand the
importance of Ancient Greek civilization and see how incredibly influential it
is to this day.

Acropolis Museum. Once you are fully satisfied and ready to move on, you will
continue (either walking or by car) on to the highly esteemed Acropolis Museum.

Monastiraki Square: Sightseeing is always fun, but it can also be a little
exhausting. As soon as we have the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum out of the
way, we are off for some leisure and relaxation (and maybe a bit of shopping
therapy) in the famous flea market of Monastiraki Square. And by now you must be
feeling somewhat hungry, so why not grab a souvlaki (or 2?)!

And that’s a wrap! Your driver will come to promptly pick you up and take you
back to your hotel, where you can rest and reflect on this magical excursion you
just went on, and maybe you’ll find that it’s not all “Greek” to you anymore!

Let’s go road-tripping! We start on a pretty 1:30h drive through the Greek
country side as we head all the way to the southernmost point of Athens!

How about a swim for the road? On our way there, you’ll have plenty of time to
enjoy the views. And sure, the AC in the van works just fine, but wouldn’t you
rather go for a dip before continuing? Your driver knows just the beach spots
for you to enjoy some of that good Grecian sun and sea. Once we’re done, we are
back on the road to Cape Sounio, home to the Temple of Poseidon, God of the Sea.

Sounio, the neighborhood of gods. Once there, your driver will show you around
the picturesque scenery of the Temple of Poseidon and inform you about the
abundant history of this sea side marvel.  

And let’s not forget the real reason why we’ve brought you here; to see
firsthand the Greek sun diving into the Aegean Sea, giving you a one of a kind
sunset that you will never forget!

Anything you’d like to do, it’s your day and we are easy going, you just tell
your driver and she’ll make it happen!

The return to the city.. From experience we know that after a couple of hours or
so, eyes get sleepy and stomachs get hungry, so we think it best that we start

Do you provide baby or child car seats?
Yes, child and baby seats are available upon request and free of charge, please
let us know in your request and we will arrange it for you. 

Will I be sharing the vehicle with other passengers?
No. All transfers and tours are private, so you and your group will be the
exclusive users of the service.

Does the airport transfer take us directly to our hotel?
Yes. The private transfer service takes you directly to your accommodation,
however we can make stops prior to reaching the hotel, should you need anything,
let your driver know and they will be more than happy to help.

Where is the meeting point at the airport?
Your driver will be waiting for you outside the arrival gate holding a sign with
the passenger name that you provided. We monitor incoming flights via the
airport website so we know the exact time of arrival and exit gate that you will
arrive from.

What Vehicles do you use?
Our fleet consists of 3 Hybrid Toyota Auris and 1 Mercedes Viano Van.

My flight details have changed, do I need to inform you?
Please inform us of any changes to your flight schedule as soon as possible and
we will update your reservation. For changes within 48 hours before picking up,
please try to reach us either directly via phone and email or contact the hotel
you will be staying at and they will let us know.

What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Your flight will be monitored for delays to ensure that your driver is where
they need to be, on time. If your flight is delayed, your reservation will be
automatically updated. Please note that the update to the new arrival time is
subject to availability.

Can I make changes to my booking?
You can make changes to your booking free of charge online, by email or by
phone. For last minute changes please contact the Emergency contact number
provided in your booking confirmation email. The new booking will only be
confirmed when we send you the renewed booking confirmation.

I have not received email confirmation, is my booking confirmed?
Please note that the confirmation of your booking is not automatic, and it may
take up to 24 hours before you receive the confirmation email. If your pick up
is in the next 24 hours and you have not received your confirmation, please
contact us on the provided phone number and/or email. Please remember to check
you spam/junk email folders, as the confirmation email may be found there at
times.

Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking with no charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up.
Once we receive your cancellation request we will process it and you will
receive a cancellation confirmation.

What is the difference between a licensed tour guide and a drive guide?
Our drivers are licensed drivers who are well informed about the sites and their
history. Licensed drivers however, cannot guide you inside archaeological sites
or museums. Only licensed tour guides, who are accredited with the Ministry of
Culture, can provide a fully-guided sightseeing experience inside archaeological
sites and museums. If you want a licensed tour guide for a certain museum or
archaeological site in Greece, we can arrange one for you or you can make your
own arrangements.
