BACKGROUND


21 AIR, LLC A NORTH CAROLINA CORPORATION WAS CREATED ON FEBRUARY 25, 2014, TO
PROVIDE AN INNOVATIVE, FLEXIBLE AND COMPETITIVE ALTERNATIVE TO ACMI, CMI, AND
CHARTER NEEDS.

21 AIR IS A CERTIFICATED UNITED STATES PART 121 ALL CARGO CARRIER, WITH FULL SMS
IMPLEMENTATION COMPLIANCE, UNDER NEWLY ESTABLISHED COMMERCIAL AVIATION
REGULATIONS. 21 AIR NOT ONLY HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED TO CONDUCT INTERSTATE AND
FOREIGN AIR TRANSPORTATION OF PROPERTY AND MAIL OPERATING BOEING 767 ALL CARGO
AIRCRAFT BUT TO OPERATE SCHEDULED CARGO SERVICES BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA AND MEXICO.

MEET OUR LEADERS



MICHAEL MENDEZ

Chief Operating Officer

Michael Mendez, serves as Chief Operating Officer of 21 Air and he has more than
38 years of aviation experience, of which he has held a broad range of positions
throughout his career, making him very knowledgeable in the aviation industry.
He has served as an aviation consultant for more than 10 years, where he
specialized in airline certifications and regulatory matters.

OLGA GUERRA, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Olga Guerra joined 21 Air in December 2021 leading Finance and Human Resources.
She has over 30 years of experience in the transportation, freight forwarding,
and logistics industries. Prior to joining 21 Air, she held leadership positions
at EGL/CEVA Logistics for 20 years such as VP Finance Freight Forwarding
Americas, VP Finance North America, and Global Process Owner for Order-to-Cash.
With Danzas North America, she served over 6 years as Regional Controller and
Mexico Controller in charge of Finance and Administration.  

Olga earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston and is a licensed
Certified Public Accountant.

CAPTAIN DAVID R NORGREN

Director of Operations

Dave has been in the cargo industry for over 30 years. He started out on the
ramp loading aircraft for Arrow Air in Miami in 1992 while going to college.
Dave began his flying career with Arrow Air in 1993 as a flight engineer on the
DC-8, and after 2 years upgraded to first officer. Dave later transitioned to
the L-1011 and after a few years in the right seat, he then completed his
initial captain upgrade on the L-1011 and later became a simulator and line
check airman. Dave, later transitioned to captain on DC-10 and then the B757
before transitioning to management as the Chief Pilot for Arrow Cargo in 2010.
After Arrow shut down in 2011, Dave began a brief stay at Skylease Cargo on the
MD-11. In 2012, Dave was selected as an initial cadre check airman B767 for
Dynamic Airways. He quickly transitioned into the Chief Pilot position and later
held the positions of Director of Safety and Director of Operations. In 2014, he
began the 21 Air project first under Dynamic Airways and in 2016 was the
Director of Operations and initial cadre check airman when 21 Air certified and
was issued its Operation Certificate. Dave’s passion for flying lead him away
from management for a couple of years before being asked to return as Chief
Pilot and now again Director of Operations.

ANTHONY TIRRI

Chief Pilot

Anthony (Tony) Tirri has over 30 years in the aviation industry including below
the wing services, flying and aviation management. Earning positions of
owner/operator CAF ground handling, Line Check and Proficiency Check Airman, EVP
International Air Leases and Chief Pilot of several FAR 121 Passenger and Cargo
Airlines.
