MOSIMANE GIVES KAIZER CHIEFS A COLD SHOULDER - 'AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FIX
AMAKHOSI? THERE ARE GOOD GERMAN & SERBIAN COACHES TO DO THE JOB'

Premier Soccer LeagueKaizer ChiefsTransfersFAR RabatPitso John Mosimane

The three-time Caf Champions League winner believes other coaches can help
Amakhosi rise after recent struggles.

   WHAT HAPPENED?

Celebrated South African Pitso Mosimane has been linked to the Premier Soccer
League side Kaizer Chiefs since late 2023.

However, he went on to sign a short deal with the Saudi Pro League outfit
Abha. After the deal expired, Amakhosi fans were convinced the 59-year-old
   will succeed Molefi Ntseki.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician is, seemingly, not that fascinated
with the Soweto giants if his recent quotes are anything to consider.

   WHAT MOSIMANE SAID

"I would like to know why I am the only one when there are many coaches in
the world who can fix Kaizer Chiefs," the tactician said as quoted by iDiski
   Times.

"There are good German coaches and Serbian coaches, they have all the
coaches, why am I the only one to fix that? There’s a lot of people who can
   fix it.

"Secondly, do Chiefs want to win MTN8 and then say they’ve turned the corner?
Or you wanna fix the team for the next eight to ten years? You know, you
come, you win the top eight, three games. Then you’ve turned the corner? Then
the next thing you don’t qualify for the same top eight that you won,"
   Mosimane continued.

Nedbank has four games. You can play three first-division teams by luck of
the draw, you’re in the final and win it. I think the only thing that judges
you as a team is the league, it’s the league. So how are you going to do it?
Of course, it’s a big project, you need to change many things."

   THE BIGGER PICTURE

Amakhosi have reportedly settled on AS FAR Rabat coach Nasreddine Nabi who is
set to leave the Moroccan outfit after the Throne Cup.

Speculations of Nabi joining Chiefs have been fueled by rumours that the
ex-FAR Rabat Technical Director Fernando Da Cruz is expected to join the
Glamour Boys in anticipation of the arrival of the former Yanga SC coach.

   WHAT NEXT?

Chiefs have limited time to put their technical team in place since the
   pre-season is already beckoning.

Amakhosi are under pressure to get back their glory days after going nine
   seasons without silverware.
