WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN MERIDIAN SPEAKERS?



Meridian Speakers is a Toastmasters club in south-east London where you can
develop public speaking confidence and skill in a supportive learning
environment. Learning is self-paced following the Toastmasters International
Education programme. Our club’s role is to give you a support network and lots
of peer feedback to help you improve and achieve your communication and
leadership goals.

Toastmasters is a great way to overcome fear of public speaking, to develop
presentation skills and become a more effective leader. Join us for our next
meeting and you will reap the benefits.

Guests are always welcome, but you have to become a member in order to sign up
for speeches and roles.

WHAT IS TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL?



Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation that teaches
public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse
backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

The organisation’s education programme has helped over 358,000 members, across
16,800 clubs, in 143 countries. The scale of the organisation is a testament to
