to this coming year! The season on site has been updated to winter, and new

Big thank you for all who auditioned for SkyClan medicine cat. We saw an a nice
up-tick in auditions sent in so that was great to see 💜 Please join us in
congratulating Uchuuji with Larkspurfeather as our new meddie!

That is our last open high rank for the time being, but mca positions may
potentially open in the future, and we have our on-going event for ThunderClan
leader.

Our activity check is complete and accounts who failed to post have been
archived or deleted. If your accounts were archived and you would like them
un-archived please post on our moderation board to have those put back! All
characters have been aged -- be sure to check the stat table to see if any
characters have been aged into the next bracket and are owed any stats.

We've had a change in high ranks in SkyClan and want to welcome Misty & Dustfoot
as our new leader with Emberthorn & Buzz as SkyClan's new deputy! WindClan
finally has a deputy and we'd like to extend a congrats to Tuesday & Ratfang as
well! RiverClan deputy and SkyClan medicine cat are still open for auditions so
if you're hoping to grab one check out our high rank page for information and
the high rank forms.

A site gathering is on the horizon so be on the look-out!

11:59 pm CST. Please get deadlines in before then if you're interested in

weather has been changed to fall and our seasonal rolls have been updated -- you
can view those in the clan lore section of the site here.

WindClan's camp hides in plain sight. It's built into the side of a rock covered
hillside with a small crick splitting it down the middle. WindClanners, adept in
tunneling, have carved out dens and places of shelter into the hillside, and
beneath and besides the rocks faces. The elder's den and medicine cat den are
located highest up to avoid flooding should the crick ever overflow, and utilize
natural crevices bore into the stony hillside. Soft grasses and moss cover the
ground to keep the chill out, and long grasses are often used to cover the
entrances. The nursery is dug deep into the hillside beside one of the rocks
with a loamy, soil ground for warmth and comfort for the nursing mothers and
kits. The leader's den is nearest the water with the entrance to their den
behind a small spill of water for privacy and solace. Warriors and apprentices
dens are located furthest down the hillside in a series of tunnels with various
sized chambers connected with tunnels where cats build their nests next to their
preferred companions. Prey is commonly stored in one of the chambers to keep
predators from being lured into camp. The leader calls meetings from atop the
highest point referred to as the High Stones.

WindClan Territory

WindClan’s territory is vastly dominated by agricultural land cultivated and
used by humans; ranches with fields fenced in for livestock, tilled plots with
corn or soy, and hay fields routinely cut during the warmer seasons. Though it
can be a challenge to navigate when the farmers and growing are active,
WindClanners and the prey they hunt have readily adapted to live, and even
flourish, around it. The crops from the farms draw in prey and provide habitat
for species to breed and grow with small rodents, prairie dogs, rabbits, and
open space loving birds being the most commonly found and hunted on the
territory. Wilder lands, less commonly used by the two-legs, spread out towards
the eastern side as the territory reaches past the river. Native prairie,
untouched hills, and a vast meadow of wildflowers and herbs give the clan cats
peace, privacy, and space to run.

Abandoned ThunderClan

ThunderClan's old, picturesque camp sits in a giant stone hollow at the tip of a
ravine rimmed in brambles. During the warmer moons a tall, noisy waterfall falls
from the lip of the ridge and cascades into a small lake. Eventually its stream
will meet with the clan's river. In leafbare the falls freeze over creating a
dazzling sculpture of ice. Apprentices slept together beneath a large fern patch
that grows where the dirt floor meets the sloping rock wall on one side.
Warriors made use of an ancient and giant hollow log that sits across the cave's
entrance forming a natural barrier to entry on one side. They made their nests
from moss packed in the worn hollows of the wood. Elders slept at the back of
the cave, in a den dug from the soil and concealed by hanging moss and large
mushrooms. A fallen boulder, split down the center and overgrown with long
grass, serves as the nursery. The medicine cat used a small mossy patch at the
side of the cave, where a trickle of water drips from the roof into a clear
pool. They slept out in the open while their patients took shelter in a patch of
ferns. The leader's den was a crack in the wall above where another large
boulder had fallen free long ago. Its entrance is covered by hanging moss. The
leader addressed the clan from this large boulder known as the High Ledge

Abandoned Territory

ThunderClan's luscious abandoned territory is covered head-to-foot in a densely
packed deciduous and coniferous forest. It's northern borders reaches towards a
small town and distant peaks, the foothills of which comprise the majority of
the territory. Two river tongs meet at the heart before diving down into
RiverClan's terriory. A patch of colorful mounds can be seen near the north, and
an overlooking tower stands above all else in the west. A railroad cuts through
the land briefly, the calls of its monster ringing far and wide. StarClan's
sacred meeting place is tucked at its heart, hidden in the hills. What was once
the home of a prideful clan has since been abandoned, and now a gang of rogues
prowls the prey and herb-rich lands.

SkyClan's camp is located up a narrow slot canyon off the main river, where a
small natural spring creates a hidden oasis. The slot canyon is blocked from the
gorge by giant rockfall off the cliffs, making it inaccessible to anything
larger than a coyote and keeping away curious twolegs. Horsetail, cottonwoods,
and willows have grown on the copper-rich soil helping to keep temperatures cool
and pleasant. Warriors sleep in the open on the varied stone shelves, while
apprentices have their own ledge by the gently flowing creek. Elders make their
nests beneath a cottonwood on the sandy portion of camp. Rather than a single
nursery, queens have a series of private nests buried beneath one of the
overhangs. The medicine cat's den is located a little higher up the canyon wall,
accessible by a small dirt path and overlooking camp. Finally, the leader sleeps
in a small den above the spring's waterfall and addresses camp from the Tall
Ledge.

SkyClan Territory

Situated in a canyon, SkyClan's territory is made up primarily of the high
canyon cliffs and the low canyon floors, made traversable by the rough gorge
walls for the adventurous and dirt TwoLeg trails for the cautious. As a result,
SkyClanners have become adept jumpers and climbers, able to hunt among the rocky
vegetation of the canyon for a variety of birds, lizards, and valley rodents.
The meadows that bookend their two borders with the other Clans gives them the
majority of their herbs and a chance for larger prey. TwoLegs are frequently
seen throughout the territory, though notably less so during leafbare. Land
predators include coyotes, snakes, and the occasional bear, though every cat
should keep one eye on the sky for various birds of prey looking for an easy
meal.

Not far from the twoleg village, but safely above the reaches of the sea, hides
RiverClan's lush camp. Here the tranquil river above pours lazily into its lower
half through a series of small streams. A layer of thick, soft moss has grown to
cover the stones and dirt underneath the falls, more plush than any carpet.
Warriors and apprentices sleep in their own scattered and private nests
throughout the ferns and reeds, scented sweetly by naturally growing herbs.
Elders stay dry in their den within a dense elderberry. The nursery, whose
entrance is hidden by reeds, has been dug into the dirt wall behind and
reinforced with stones. The medicine den sits at the lowest level in a patch of
giant purple bellflowers with their own private pond to drink from. RiverClan's
leader sleeps in a small cave hidden behind one of the falls, and they address
the clan from the Mossy Stone: a large boulder that overlooks most of camp.

RiverClan Territory

RiverClan's territory includes coastal, mountain, grasslands, and a little bit
of temperate forest. Close to the shore the winters are warm and wet while the
summers tend to be drier and hot; towards the mountains they see more range in
temperatures as well as snow. With such a range they see a wide variety of prey,
but RiverClan remains first and foremost a fishing clan with the ocean,
waterfalls, and rivers to take from. Predators such as mountain lion, fox,
coyote, birds of prey and black bear are most frequent on their territory.
Two-legs are a common occurrence with the two-leg village and tourist popular
vineyard and church ruins to enjoy, but RiverClan has found ways to live among
and around them.

ShadowClan makes their camp in the shelter of an immensely old, incredibly
gnarled and twisted tree. The nursery, elders' den, and medicine cats' den are
all housed in separate burrows dug out underneath the roots of the tree, where
they are safe and warm; over time, the cats have built up the area directly in
front of these burrow entrances so that water doesn't come in and give anyone an
unpleasant awakening. Warriors and apprentices sleep in various spots around the
trunk of the tree, where the twisting of multiple pieces of trunk create
convenient ledges and hollows for sleeping. While there is no specific den for
warriors and apprentices, generally the apprentices sleep higher up so that
warriors can be closer to the ground in case they are needed to defend the
nursery. Some warriors can always be spotted keeping watch on the outermost
edges of the lower branches, hidden in the foliage. The leader makes their den
in a particularly large hole under the most prominent outcropping of trunk
(pictured on the right); they call meetings from atop that outcropping, commonly

ShadowClan Territory

ShadowClan's cramped swampland territory is hemmed in by a sprawling twoleg city
at their rear. They've had to incorporate abandoned twoleg dens in order to
scavenge enough to feed their clan, and even hold claim to a city park and the
dumpsters nearest it. Twolegs are common, and their trash proliferates every
tailength of the swamp. Rats plague their borders, and larger predators such as
gators and bobcats have no qualms hunting close to the city.
