Even lower than expectations
I had low expectations but the hotel was even worse. The check-in process was a
nightmare, it was too long, and they gave us a wrong address to our room for 3
times!! The rooms need renovation. The shower has a low pressure. And there is
no fridge. I wouldn't go back.

Hotel's Favorite

Disregard the negative reviews!
Well, I unfortunately lost the very long review I just tried to post here but to
summarize, don’t read into the negative reviews! I had read the elevators have
issues but it’s because they are remodeling and updating the hotel so some (I
only found 1) may run slow. All you have to do is walk 10-20 feet to the next
elevator and crisis averted! I encounter only one slow elevator until someone
told me to just walk down the hall to the next one which had no issues so all
those reviews are just ridiculous 😅. I also read the rooms were dirty and the
shower didn’t drain.. no issues there! And I changed rooms due to some loud
neighbors blasting music. They were able to change rooms with no issues and even
gave me a credit for free drinks/dinner for the troubles (even though no fault
of the hotel). My boyfriends parents came on the trip and their room was also
spotless and I’ll say the beds and pillows were some of the most comfortable
I’ve stayed in! My boyfriends parents had an issue with their safe one night and
they promptly fixed the issue and again compensated them for the trouble (none
of us asked for that). The other thing I read complaints of was the smell of
smoke.. well, you’re in Vegas and most hotels and casinos allow that so if this
is such an issue, go to one of the non smoking ones. They did the best they
could but it is what it is and wasn’t that bad (coming from a non smoker). They
had plenty of security in and outside the hotel which made me safe and secure.

The food options were fantastic at NYNY. Big shoutout to Gallagher’s restaurant
for the best prime rib, lobster tail and and steak I’ve ever had! Definitely a
must try!

My only negatives are that the waitress at Nine Fine Irishmen was lacking in her
costumer service skill.. maybe she needs a vacation (or maybe just time to
retire) as she was a bit rude and cranky. I also wish they had mini fridges in
the rooms to hold your water and leftovers.. I get this is typical for Vegas but
still would love to have that option.

All the staff I encountered were stellar and went out of their way to make my
stay wonderful which it was so I’m happy to come back one day ☺️☺️

Celebrating my 50th! Guest experience staff wooed us back after a previous stay
with unfortunate incidents and sub par experiences. I was treated like a vip and

Get a cheaper hotel room.not worth the price
theres nothing special about NYNY hotel. its hit or miss. rooms are smaller
compared to its competitors.you pay less and get more value going to Horseshoe
or paris hotel. I stayed at Horseshoe last year and paid much less. Horseshoe
was much better.

Excelente staff
Good security
I felt really safe in hotel/casino and clean rooms and really friendly. Well
recommended 100%. Front desk people really nice too. Thanks for everything New
York New York. Hopefully I can get good offers to stay a little bit longer next
time.

Just ok
The quality of service delivered by the hotel staff fell below expectations,
resulting in a subpar overall experience for guests. From check-in to check-out,
the staff's performance failed to meet the standards one would anticipate from a
hospitality establishment. Instances of unhelpfulness, lack of attention to
detail, and slow response times contributed to a less-than-pleasant stay.

Moreover, the continuous imposition of additional charges proved to be a
significant detriment to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Instead of
fostering a welcoming and accommodating environment, the constant nickel and
diming left guests feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. It not only undermined
the perceived value of the stay but also created an unwelcome sense of
unpredictability in terms of final costs.

This combination of subpar service and unexpected fees created a negative
synergy, diminishing the overall appeal of the hotel. Guests, who likely sought
a relaxing and enjoyable experience, found themselves grappling with
disappointments and financial frustrations. In the competitive landscape of the
hospitality industry, such shortcomings can significantly impact a hotel's
reputation and the likelihood of guests returning for future stays. Ultimately,
the hotel's potential is overshadowed by these drawbacks, highlighting the

Nice casino and restaurants
I do like NY NY. The casino is fun with plenty of good games. They have great
restaurants of all price ranges. The rooms are clean and well decorated. I could
have used a bigger bathroom but I liked the lighted mirror. It was perfect for
putting on makeup. I’ve stayed at many hotels that had dim bathrooms.

Relaxing and fun trip
Had a great pre-Christmas stay and enjoyed the newly updated rooms. The new
elevator system makes getting to your floor a breeze. There were a ton of food
options but the biggest two things are the proximity to the other hotels and the
theming which honestly is lacking in the other newer hotels. It’s great staying
at a property that doesn’t give off a mall look and feel but transports you to
an idealized version of New York. We had a small issue with our room upon check
in that was resolved within minutes. Thumbs up!!

An average hotel
I have stayed at NYNY about half a dozen times. The location is great for my
interests though a little too close to the TMobile area. If there's an event
expect crowds and A LOT of noise from the stadium.

There's plenty of places to eat which is a good thing. It's an alternative to
the casino floor which I found is getting dull over the years. Fewer games and
variety unless you like Wheel of Fortune, Buffalo whatever, or happy Chinese
panda something. I don't.

The resort fee for essentially Nothing pushes me away from more frequent visits.
Break it down. Who needs boarding pass printing, local phone calls, fax
services, and a closed pool area in December?

Would I stay again. Maybe. If I did would I be excited about my visit? Lukewarm.
