WELCOME

Welcome to the 2023 Spring Registration with Mark West Little League!

Thank you for registering your player(s) for the 2023 Spring season. We look
forward to another amazing year of baseball here at Mark West. Please be sure to
read all the information below and keep an eye on the website and your email for
important dates.

***New Players - If you are registering a player that is new to Mark West Little
League Spring season, you will need to upload a few documents - birth
certificate and proof of residency or school enrollment form.

Players that go to school within the Mark West Little League boundaries can
complete a school enrollment form instead of providing proof of residency. The
school enrollment form can be found on the website and needs to be completely
filled out and signed by the school Principal. The form needs to be turned in to
the Player Agent to keep on file.

Proof of residency - You will need to upload 1 item from each group below. The
document must show the address within the boundaries AND the parent/guardian
name.

GROUP ONE - 1 item

1. Driver’s License
2. School records
3. Vehicle records (i.e.,registration, lease, etc.)
4. Employment records
5. Insurance documents

GROUP TWO - 1 item

1. Welfare/child care records
2. Federal records(Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
3. State records
4. Local (municipal) records
5. Support payment records
6. Homeowner or tenant records
7. Military records

GROUP THREE - 1 item

1. Voter’s Registration
2. Utility bills(i.e., gas, electric, water/ sewer, phone, mobile phone,
heating, waste disposal)
3. Financial records(i.e. loan, credit, investments, etc.)
4. Medical records
5. Internet, cable, or satellite records

SAVE THE DATE! PLAYER ASSESMENTS

Skills Assessments are held January 21 and 28, 2023*

(*Subject to change at the leagues discretion & weather permitting)

Players age 7 through 13 years old are given the opportunity to bat, field
grounders and fly balls, throw and run in comparison with other youngsters in
their age group in the presence of our volunteers Managers or assessment
committee.

All 7 through 13 year olds, including managers’ and coaches’ children, are
REQUIRED to attend one of the assessment dates. Any player who does not attend
will be ineligible to play in any division. Assessment helps insure that all
50/70, Majors and Minors managers have at least some knowledge of the players
prior to their respective drafts.

There may be circumstances that will prevent a player from attending any of the
regularly scheduled skill assessment sessions. Parents of those players must
contact the League Player Agent to discuss alternatives. Player Agent approval
is required for any alternative arrangements.

FAMILY DISCOUNT

If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will
receive a $10 discount on the second (and third, if applicable) child's
registration fee. In order for the registration system to recognize that your
family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at
this time. On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register
Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's
players are registered within the same order.

***Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted
rates.***

NO REQUESTS

The league does not accept any friend, Manager/Coach or Division request.

T-ball & Pee Wee players will be assigned to teams randomly.

Farms will be evenly distributed based on assessments.

Minors, Majors, 50/70, Juniors & Seniors Division players are drafted by the
Managers.
