EecMec is a specialist building services consultancy working primarily in the
NABERS IDR and Green Star Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) market.

We also offer mechanical design and review services across a broad spectrum of
specialist area including healthcare, biocontainment, pharmaceutical, laboratory
and cleanrooms. No application is too specialised or complex.


EECMEC FOUNDER

Peter Lowndes, the founder and sole director, has over 25 years experience in
the field. He has worked on some of the most complex mechanical services designs
in Australia and across south-east Asia. Following his design career he moved
into the sustainability space providing Green Star consultancy on projects all
the way up to 6-Star.

 He is a member of the NABERS Independent Design Reviewers (IDR) panel and has
been made a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air
Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) .


COMPREHENSIVE & EFFICIENT SERVICES

EecMec is one of the few, if only, companies offering both NABERS IDR and ICA
services. This provides both initial energy efficiency advice along with
continued support and expertise through installation, commissioning and post
occupancy tuning. This ensures that systems are not only designed to be energy
efficient, but are also constructed, commissioned & operated in an energy
efficient manner.


EXPERIENCED

While EecMec was only established in 2015, we have over 25 years of industry
experience. During this time Peter has worked in a wide range of areas from high
end residential to commercial office building and fitouts through to high tech
projects for research, pharmaceutical and healthcare providers.

We focus on controls based solutions that provide optimised result regardless of
the hardware implemented. This provides solutions with lower expense, less
interruption to service and significant efficiency gains.

THE FOUNDING OF EECMEC

Peter Lowndes started EECMEC in 2015 when he noticed large consultancies
claiming  "independent" status when applied to projects that they were
instrumental in scoping or designing. This served neither the client or the
rating system requiring the rigour of an  independent party to review or oversee
activities. EecMec provides the advantage of truly independent advice with the
knowledge that the staff have the knowledge and experience of the large
engineering consultancies. Testament to this is the repeat business EecMec
provides to a range of Tier 1 developers & builders. Most recently for John
Holland on the Sydney Football Stadium re-development.
