WINDOWS 8 END OF LIFE




If the Windows 8 End of Life cycle affects your computer, you’ve seen the above
image before. As of January 10th, Microsoft is no longer supporting this
operating system, which makes it a potential security threat. This means viruses
or malware could more easily find their way onto your system if you don’t
upgrade.



For help with that, stop by Level Seven Computers and we’ll inspect your system
to verify it can upgrade to Windows 10 or 11. If your system is too old or
you’ve been looking for a reason to get a new one, no problem! We also have a
nice selection of certified pre-owned systems here in the store.

FREE ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT

Professional Recycling will be partnering with Level Seven Computers to host a
free electronics recycling event on Wed Oct. 12th & Thur Oct. 13th. Stop by any
time during our normal business hours of 10am to 6pm to drop off desktops,
laptops, printers, DVD players, VCRs, small electronics, phones and more. They
will not be able to accept TVs, loose batteries, appliances containing Freon or
refrigerant, lightbulbs, large appliances, or hazardous materials. If you have
an old CRT monitor they will accept those but there is a $15 disposal fee.

While you’re here recycling the old, feel free to stop inside and take a look at
our selection of certified refurbished desktops and laptops for sale and walk
out with something new. If you have any questions about the recycling event or
what will be accepted, please give us a call at (402) 261-0851.
