BROKEN CHROME SSO (ENTERPRISE AD)

Posted by ButtYodel on Apr 18th, 2022 at 8:47 PM
Needs answer
Web Browser Active Directory & GPO General Windows

Hello everyone,

I broke Chrome SSO in my organization with GPO. I have rolled back the changes,
but the behavior has not reverted.

We use Okta to access applications, but the SSO to the Okta page is no longer
working in Chrome. It works in IE and Edge just fine.

The action that caused it to break was configuring the GPO objects in the ADMX
templates for Chrome: AuthNegotiateDelegateAllowlist and AuthServerAllowlist. I
added our intranet domain items there attempting to fix SSO on a separate O365
application, but it ended up breaking SSO everywhere in Chrome. I reverted the
changes back to "Not Configured" after deleting the text I had entered and hit
apply. SSO remains broken for every site.

Given these series of actions, what would be a good place to start t/s? I'm on a
test OU in group policy trying different configuations and not having any luck
restoring things. The original OU had nothing configured in the ADMX template
for Chrome, so I'm not sure what's up.

Additional info available on request, thanks for y'all's help with this!

Edit: Intranet Zones are being enforced from a separate GPO. Don't think these
could be the issue.
