The town of Maldon, Victoria (Australia's first notable town, proclaimed by the National Trust in 1966), is known for many great things including it's heritage look and feel and spectacular community events. 2024 sees the launch of the Maldon Vintage Short Film Festival, affectionately known as Vintage Shorts, a festival inviting filmmakers from around the world to consider the value of something old or vintage, find the beauty in it and to show us that beauty in things, homes, cities, people: all better with age because of their story. Vintage Shorts is about opening our eyes to the beauty, wisdom, history and experience that comes with age, our wrinkles marking where our smiles have been. We can't wait to see how you see 'age', the beauty in 'old' and the vintage in life. Submit your short film by 5pm Friday 29 March 2024. Guidelines for submissions below. Decisions on final selection will be made by 19 April, 2024. bottom of page
