<p><br> The Your Rights Under Illinois Employment Laws has been updated to highlight the new rate for 2023. Effective January 1, 2023, the Illinois minimum wage will be $13.00 per hour. </p>
<p> The poster has also been updated to reflect the amendments to the One Day Rest in Seven Act under SB3146 to provide at least 24 hours of consecutive rest in every consecutive seven-day period (rather than in a calendar week). Under
Meal and Rest Periods, Employees working 7 1/2 continuous hours must be allowed a meal period of at least 20 minutes no later than 5 hours after the start of work and an additional 20 minutes if working a 12-hour shift or longer, and
Employees must be afforded reasonable bathroom breaks. </p>

2023 ILLINOIS STATE & FEDERAL LABOR LAW POSTERS
The Your Rights Under Illinois Employment Laws has been updated to highlight the
new rate for 2023. Effective January 1, 2023, the Illinois minimum wage will be
$13.00 per hour.
The poster has also been updated to reflect the amendments to the One Day Rest
in Seven Act under SB3146 to provide at least 24 hours of consecutive rest in
every consecutive seven-day period (rather than in a calendar week). Under Meal
and Rest Periods, Employees working 7 1/2 continuous hours must be allowed a
meal period of at least 20 minutes no later than 5 hours after the start of work
and an additional 20 minutes if working a 12-hour shift or longer, and Employees
must be afforded reasonable bathroom breaks.
