The North London Club will round off their Asia-Pacific tour in Singapore.
Spurs’ last visit Singapore in 2019 saw a magical Harry Kane goal in stoppage
time, resulting in the team’s 3-2 win over Juventus. AIA, the global principal
partner of Tottenham Hotspur FC, will also be a key partner for the match in
Singapore. Fans can expect plenty of opportunities for interaction with players
and staff as they will be engaging in a range of activities to engage with the
Club’s fanbase, support good causes, deliver grassroots football programmes and
celebrate local culture.
AS Roma will be led by two-time Champions League winning manager Jose Mourinho,
who guided the Italian side to victory in the Europa Conference League last year
– their first trophy in 11 years. The players set to feature at the National
Stadium in July include talented young star Nicola Zalewski, England
international Chris Smalling and Argentinian forward Paulo Dybala, who was part
of the World Cup-winning team last year.
About Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig
Singapore fans can look forward to a week of thrilling action as the Republic
will host the inaugural Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig from 26
July to 2 August. Premier League clubs Liverpool FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and
Leicester City FC will be joined by Bundesliga powerhouses FC Bayern Munich and
Serie A side AS Roma at the National Stadium for 3 action-packed matches.
The Singapore Festival of Football Driven by CDG Zig, presented by TEG Sport, is
the first large-scale international football event hosted here since 2019. In
addition to world-class sporting action, spectators of all ages can enjoy the
complete festival experience with a wide range of family-friendly fun activities
and dining options on offer throughout the week at the Football Fan Interactive
Festival Village at the OCBC Square. The village will be open to the public on
open training and match days as well as on 1 Aug, a day before the final match
between Liverpool FC and FC Bayern Munich.
