Thank you for your participation in the Accenture Smish Me! program. If you receive a text from a number you do not recognize: Never click links, reply to messages, or call numbers provided in the text message. Do not respond, even if the message requests that you “text STOP” to end messages. Verify the message through a separate channel and do not use the information listed in the text. Instead, use a trusted source like their official website or application. Delete all suspicious texts and block the numbers, if possible. NEVER share an MFA code, approve an MFA sign-in request you did not initiate, or enter a code into your MS Authenticator app if you do not see the code on the screen you're logging into. While this was a simulated smishing test, there are real consequences. Clicking or previewing suspicious links could cause significant damage to Accenture, our clients, or even you personally. How to recognize a smishing attempt: IF YOU THINK YOU'VE BEEN SMISHED, URGENTLY CONTACT THE ACCENTURE SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER (ASOC) AT +1-202-728-0645. Know how to spot Phishing attacks. Learn about Multi-Factor Authentication. Become an Information Security Advocate. Subscribe to Protecting Accenture. Save ASOC as a mobile contact.
