CTSA PROGRAM

ABOUT THE CONSORTIUM

ABOUT

CTSA Program

NCATS‘ Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program supports a
national network of medical research institutions — called hubs ― that work
together to improve the translational research process to get more treatments to
more patients more quickly.  The hubs collaborate locally and regionally to
catalyze innovation in training, research tools and processes.  The CTSA Program
is led by Michael G. Kurilla, M.D., Ph.D.  Learn More about the CTSA Program.

NIH Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL) Initiative SM

In April 2018, NIH launched the HEAL (Helping to End Addiction Long-termSM)
Initiative, an aggressive, trans-agency effort to speed scientific solutions to
stem the national opioid public health crisis. Learn more about NCATS’ Role in
the HEAL Initiative and how translational science plays a critical role in this
crisis. Please visit the NIH Pain Consortium website for information on the NIH
HEAL Pain Management Effectiveness Research Network and the NCATS CTSA Program
Trial Innovation Network  for resources on how to partner with CTSA Program
hubs.

ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

As the CTSA Program continues to evolve with new projects and initiatives, there
is a need for a unified website that ensures a cohesive presence for the
Program’s activities. This portion of the website is maintained and updated by
NCATS with current governance and policy documents as well as communication
updates from webinars and newsletters. This website also provides links to CTSA
Program funded collaborative projects and most importantly, it’s coordinating
centers, the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) and CTSA
Program Data to Health (CD2H). Please visit the Initiatives subpage to learn
more about the exciting activities of the Program!
