They have all been great but the one this year, in Egg Harbor was our favorite. Ashamedly, I can’t remember our tour guide’s name (Monday morning on June 13) but he was the best yet. FRISCOKAY 29th June 2021 This was a terrific 2.5 hour experience with our guide, Mark. Easy to learn the Segway. Great views! JIM I 19th July 2021 I’ll admit, I’ve giggled at the sight of tourists on Segways in the past. That said, I wanted to try something new, and this sounded like a fun way to see Peninsula State Park. Our guide and Segway guru was the one and only Leif! He taught us the basics to safely operate our Segways and then we were off! Leif guided us through the park and described it as it was long ago, how it came to look as it does now, and what it is evolving into! He shared stories of the people whose homes became part of the park, as well as historical figures that made this area what it is today. Leif is a Door County treasure, and we are so grateful to have had this experience with him! MACGUYVERMAMA 10th July 2021 We had a great time on the tour. If you go to door county you really should treat yourself to this, it's a great and very fun time. The Segway's are a blast to ride and it's such a freeing feeling to be on them, the more you relax the easier they are to steer, it makes walking seem boring. Mark was our guide and was great with the tour and interesting facts and couldn't have been more friendly. If you go to door county you really should treat yourself to this, it's a great and very fun time. Practicing in the parking lot made us all feel much more confident about the tour. Even though it was a little chilly we all loved it! Brian was a great guide with interesting facts and stories. Great to stop and get photos and just enjoy the fall colors. We couldn't have asked for a better exp and we all said we'd love to come back again in the summer and repeat the exp. We offer reasonably priced tours of these areas and more! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Most frequent questions and answers ARE THERE BOOKING FEES? There is tax and booking fees added to the cost of the tour. DO YOU HAVE ROOM FOR MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE ON A TOUR? Yes, we have more than 50 Segways! If there are more than 8 people in your group you must call to book. If you have more than 9 people in your group you will have more than 1 guide to take care of you. IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT? Participants must be about 11 years old or older. You know your child best! If in doubt, arrange a time with us to have them try it out. In order to do a tour without an adult, a FUN SEEKER must be at least 18. HOW OLD IS TOO OLD? There is not an upper age limit. A person must be comfortable on their feet and not tend to trip or fall because of health or age. IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT? No, but the participant must be comfortable on their feet, does not tend to fall or trip because of weight and must be able to climb steps without assistance. DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE GOOD BALANCE TO RIDE A SEGWAY PT? No. You just have to TRUST the Segway PT and it will balance you. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to trust the Segway at the very start but trust will come. WHY DON’T YOU HAVE THE LOCATION ON YOUR WEBSITE FOR WHERE WE MEET FOR OUR TOUR? We don’t want people to show up for their tour without a reservation because we will not have a Segway for you. When you make your reservation we give you the meeting location (or look at this link to see all our tour meeting locations). HOW LONG DOES A SEGWAY TOUR LAST? The majority of our Door County and Green Bay Segway tours last between one and two hours, although the Washington Island Tour lasts about five hours and a few of the tours are 50 minutes. CAN A YOUNGER CHILD RIDE WITH A PARENT/ADULT? No. The Segway PT is designed for one rider. In many cases, you can rent a bike for them to bring them along. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? *100% REFUND IN CASE OF RAIN OR BAD WEATHER. The Segway has no problem with the rain but we understand if you do! Tours go out in light rain but can be canceled or rescheduled.
