GOOGLE FUED

Google Feud is an unconventional browser puzzle game based on a popular American
TV show with just one twist: the player needs to guess how certain popular
Google searches end. A simple example would be a query like: “What day is it …”
- you need to finish this question based on what you think Google autocomplete
would suggest. In this case “What day is it today?” would probably be a safe
bet.

This Google search game is more fun than you could possibly imagine. Every time
you are presented with a new search phrase you can guess up to 10 autocomplete
suggestions for it, and it is surprisingly challenging to get them all right.
Did you know, for instance, that the phrase “giraffes are …” usually ends with
“heartless creatures” according to Google autocorrect?


PLAY GOOGLE FUED GAME

Every Google Fued game starts with giving you a choice of four categories.
‘Culture’ represents general searches, ‘People’ is specifically about individual
traits and human nature, ‘Names’ have to do with celebrities and politicians and
‘Questions’ can refer to any search that ends with a question mark. As soon as
you choose your preferred category you will be presented with what looks like a
regular search engine. Your goal is to think about the sentence in the search
bar and guess the most popular versions of that search phrase that the results
of Google suggest. Type them into the field one by one and see some of them show
up on the board below.

The idea behind Google Feud is both simple and ingenious. You only have to try
playing it once to realize how funny and weird some of the suggestions are and
how entertaining it is to approximate which phrases people all over the world
are googling. If you think you can become an expert in Google trivia, prepare to
challenge your preconceptions and discover some of the weirdest searches ever by
playing Google Fued!
