WHISKY MIST BEIRUT



Whisky Mist is undoubtedly the UK’s most exclusive and glamorous club. With a
membership policy for the ultra-rich and famous, you’re likely to bump into the
likes of Prince William, Prince Harry, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Paris
Hilton, George Clooney, Map Damon, Robert De Niro, Guy Ritchie, Madonna,
Christina Aguilera, Foo Fighters, The Killers, and Kings of Leon, just to name a
few…

This glamorous VIP concept is coming to Lebanon, to none other that the
Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel, Lebanon’s very own glamorous and exclusive
legendary 5-star hotel. The new club will be at Le Paon Rouge in Phoenicia, in
case you know where that is. However, the venue is being completely transformed
to be true to the Whisky Mist spirit.

I will quote my source as is, just so you get an idea of how it’ll look and feel

> Open to all members and non-members who have gained entry via table booking
> and  guest list, Whisky Mist at Paon Rouge,  will be open from 22.00 Tuesday
> to Sunday.
> 
> The High level of excitement will be felt the moment you walk through the
> doors with its great music and friendly patrons.
> 
> Once through the doors, guests will be enveloped in a sophisticated design
> with a traditional British touch. Whisky Mist’s guest will be greeted from a
> black and gold colored boutique entrance styled with jewelry display for
> potential late shopping.
> 
> The club’s configuration incorporate a long granite bar with 3 Rock crystal
> Chandeliers, a long communal table with leather stools separated by an in
> lighting  Ice sculpture where the best spirits will be chilled to the perfect
> taste !!
> 
> The main bar opens to a large mirrored split-level seating area. The VIP dark
> leathered banquettes will accommodate up to 150 guests, who will enjoy a
> friendly and professional bottle service and another 120 standing.
> 
> Right at the center of the club space, with its fashionable and trendy crowds,
> 2 Super VIP booths for the glamorous and famous will have you relaxing away
> the stress of the day and dancing the night away.

So, the good news is it will not be membership-only, and us humans will have a
chance to rub shoulders with the stars and celebs that are sure to be gracing
the dance-floor of this newest addition to Phoenicia’s host of top-notch
restaurants and clubs.

When will you be able to try this out? April 2011, just two months away!

CHILI’S GEMMAYZEH



This second “leak” might not be new to you hardcore Chili’s fans, but for
everyone wondering what that magnificent old house on Gemmayzeh is going to
become, the one that has been being revamped for months now, the good news is
it’s not just another club or pub. It’s CHILI’s (obviously =P)

The guys at Chili’s promise to bring more than just the delectable cuisine… The
planned branch will introduce the Margarita Bar Chili’s is famous for onto
Gemmayzeh, making it both a restaurant and easy-going bar.

As for when it is opening, it already is a couple of months behind schedule,
with the official website setting “late 2010” as the planned delivery date.

From the looks of it though, the venue is almost ready and from what we’ve
heard, it’s in the next couple of weeks!
