Bill summary

As introduced, this bill authorizes a county election official who verifies
signatures on referendum and initiative petitions to establish a standardized
petition form for county-level referendums and initiatives. This bill also adds
a county election official conducting a local agency's election and other county
election officials rendering support to a local agencies election to the list of
those who may permit electronic distribution of a candidate's statement.
