                        <div align="justify">Asteracantha longifolia Nees family Acanthaceae is commonly known Kokilasha found in moist places, banks of rivers, ditches and paddy fields. It is also found in India, Burma, Africa, Malaysia Sri-Lanka,
                          Myanmar, Indonesia, and Nepal. Asteracantha longifolia extensively used in traditional system of medicine to treat various ailments and this plant mentioned in Ayurvedic treatise like “Charka Samhita” and “Sushruta Samhita”
                          as Rasayan or rejuvenator. Asteracantha longifolia is used for the treatment of several diseases such as jaundice, dropsy, dysentery and diabetes, rheumatism, edema,&nbsp; inflammation,&nbsp; kidney stones,&nbsp; pain,
                          aphrodisiac, liver dysfunction, malaria, gout, urinary affections, dysuria, cough, diarrhoea, thirst, urinary calculi, urine discharges and treatment of blood disorders and also used to preparation of herbal formulations. On
                          the basis of therapeutic characters a detailed study of Kokilasha different parts (root, stem and leaf) such as macroscopy, microscopy, and powder microscopy studies, physicochemical parameters, preliminary phytochemical
                          screening, development of HPTLC fingerprints profile and detection of heavy metals, tools were carried out.&nbsp; The established parameters can be used as standards for identification and quality control of the plants in
                          compound formulations and also preparation of a monograph of the plant Kokilasha plant.</div>

                        <div align="justify">Constitutional commissions are currently a widely celebrated phenomenon in public governance. Many democracies all over the world, including Kenya have adopted independent constitutional commissions as a
                          system of governance to improve service delivery. Researchers have generally supported the position that board governance influences service delivery. The purpose of the study was to establish the influence of board
                          diversity on service delivery in constitutional commissions in Kenya. The theory was hinged to Stewardship Theory. The study adopted both descriptive survey and exploratory research designs, and used both qualitative and
                          quantitative approaches. The units of analysis were constitutional commissions of Kenya created by the chapter 15 of the Constitution of Kenya and Act of Parliament, while the unit of observation was 80 board members and 10
                          Chief Executive Officers of the Constitutional Commissions in Kenya. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Results revealed that board diversity had a positive and significant relationship
                          with service delivery in the constitutional commissions in Kenya.</div>

                        <div align="justify">The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between project leadership and the implementation of integrated infrastructure projects within government agencies in Kenya. Effective project
                          leadership plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of infrastructure initiatives, aligning project objectives with national development priorities, and fostering stakeholder engagement. The study was
                          anchored on the Contingency Theory. The study adopted mixed method approaches. The target population was 504 and involved project managers, supervisors and contractors implementing implementation of integrated infrastructure
                          projects in government agencies in Kenya. The sample size of the study was 223 participants computed using Slovin’s sample size determination formula. The study findings revealed that there is a positive and significant
                          relationship between project leadership and implementation of integrated infrastructure projects in government agencies in Kenya. The study established that through motivating, inspiring, negotiating and transformative,
                          project leaders navigate complex challenges inherent in infrastructure development, in terms of reduced cost overruns, time overruns and stakeholder satisfaction. Therefore, by investing in leadership development programs
                          and embracing collaborative approaches, government agencies in Kenya can leverage the power of effective project leadership to deliver transformative infrastructure projects that drive economic growth and improve the quality
                          of life for citizens.</div>

                        <div align="justify">Employee performance in private security firms is Kenya is facing numerous challenges frequently emanation from workplace environment. Therefore this study sought to assess the effect of supervisor support
                          on workplace ergonomics on employee performance in private security firms in Kenya. The study was anchored on the Two-Factor Theory of Motivation. The study utilized positivism research approach. The study used descriptive
                          and correlation research designs. The study population was 13,484 drawn form the Kenya Security Industry Association (KSIA) and Protective Security Industry Association (PSIA). The sample size was 180 respondents established
                          by use of Slovin sample size determination formulae. Questionnaires were used as instruments for obtaining the data required. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were enhanced by carrying out a pilot study prior to
                          data collection. The study adopted regression analysis to establish the effect of supervisor support on employee performance in private security firms in Kenya. The study findings indicated that supervisor support had a
                          positive and significant relationship with employee performance in private security firms in Kenya. Therefore, the relationship between supervisor support and employee performance is crucial as it can have far-reaching
                          implications for both employees and private security firms. The positive and significant relationship between supervisor support and employee performance suggests that private security firms should consider investing in
                          ergonomic improvements to create a healthier, more productive, and engaged workforce. It can have a cascading effect on various aspects of organizational success. Therefore, supervisor support has multifaceted implications
                          on employee performance, influencing various aspects of job satisfaction, engagement, motivation, and overall organizational success. A supportive supervisory relationship is a key driver of a healthy and productive work
                          environment. This, in turn, can contribute to the overall success and employee performance of private security firms in Kenya.</div>

                        <div align="justify">In order to estimate effect of&nbsp; bio-fertilizers x genotype × plant population interaction on soy bean performance, an experiment was conducted for two successive summer seasons (2018 and 2019) at
                          Demonstration Farm of Damazin Agricultural Research Station in Damazin, Blue Nile State, South-eastern Sudan.Two cultivars of soybean namely,Sudan-1(V1) and Sudan-2(V1) inoculated with [Rhizobacteria (B1), Azotobacter (B2)
                          and Bacillus(B3), and without bacteria as control(B0), respectively] under three&nbsp; plant population (D1≡ 210000, D2≡110000 and D3≡70000 plants/ha). The experiment was laid out in (RCBD) with three replications as
                          split-split-plots trail. The traits of dry matter, leaf area, number of nodules, branches, pods per plant, seeds in pod, 100- seed- weight, seeds and straw yield were studied. The results revealed that, the interaction
                          between of plant population and bio-fertilizer with genotypes showed significant effects on the most of these traits. The highest&nbsp; leaf area (8.97,9.98), seeds yield (967.22 and 986.22 kg/ha), HI (36.17 and 36.67)&nbsp;
                          recorded when sowing seeds of V1 at higher density D1inoculated with B1 (V1×D1×B1)in both seasons. Also, the heavier dry weights (0.95 and 0.92 kg), higher 100-seed weight (15.49 g), seeds/pod (7.48) were observed in
                          V1×D3×B1 treatment. The superiority of the above two interaction treatments, it was noted that the Sudan-1 genotype and bio-fertilizer (B1) ranked first in all traits of the seed yield and its components.</div>

1.PHYSICOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND PHYTOCHEMICAL EVALUATION OF KOKILAKSHA

Abstract:




Asteracantha longifolia Nees family Acanthaceae is commonly known Kokilasha
found in moist places, banks of rivers, ditches and paddy fields. It is also
found in India, Burma, Africa, Malaysia Sri-Lanka, Myanmar, Indonesia, and
Nepal. Asteracantha longifolia extensively used in traditional system of
medicine to treat various ailments and this plant mentioned in Ayurvedic
treatise like “Charka Samhita” and “Sushruta Samhita” as Rasayan or rejuvenator.
Asteracantha longifolia is used for the treatment of several diseases such as
jaundice, dropsy, dysentery and diabetes, rheumatism, edema,  inflammation, 
kidney stones,  pain, aphrodisiac, liver dysfunction, malaria, gout, urinary
affections, dysuria, cough, diarrhoea, thirst, urinary calculi, urine discharges
and treatment of blood disorders and also used to preparation of herbal
formulations. On the basis of therapeutic characters a detailed study of
Kokilasha different parts (root, stem and leaf) such as macroscopy, microscopy,
and powder microscopy studies, physicochemical parameters, preliminary
phytochemical screening, development of HPTLC fingerprints profile and detection
of heavy metals, tools were carried out.  The established parameters can be used
as standards for identification and quality control of the plants in compound
formulations and also preparation of a monograph of the plant Kokilasha plant.

2.INFLUENCE OF BOARD DIVERSITY ON SERVICE DELIVERY IN CONSTITUTIONAL COMMISSIONS

Abstract:




Constitutional commissions are currently a widely celebrated phenomenon in
public governance. Many democracies all over the world, including Kenya have
adopted independent constitutional commissions as a system of governance to
improve service delivery. Researchers have generally supported the position that
board governance influences service delivery. The purpose of the study was to
establish the influence of board diversity on service delivery in constitutional
commissions in Kenya. The theory was hinged to Stewardship Theory. The study
adopted both descriptive survey and exploratory research designs, and used both
qualitative and quantitative approaches. The units of analysis were
constitutional commissions of Kenya created by the chapter 15 of the
Constitution of Kenya and Act of Parliament, while the unit of observation was
80 board members and 10 Chief Executive Officers of the Constitutional
Commissions in Kenya. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and
inferential statistics. Results revealed that board diversity had a positive and
significant relationship with service delivery in the constitutional commissions
in Kenya.

Abstract:




The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between project
leadership and the implementation of integrated infrastructure projects within
government agencies in Kenya. Effective project leadership plays a pivotal role
in driving the successful execution of infrastructure initiatives, aligning
project objectives with national development priorities, and fostering
stakeholder engagement. The study was anchored on the Contingency Theory. The
study adopted mixed method approaches. The target population was 504 and
involved project managers, supervisors and contractors implementing
implementation of integrated infrastructure projects in government agencies in
Kenya. The sample size of the study was 223 participants computed using Slovin’s
sample size determination formula. The study findings revealed that there is a
positive and significant relationship between project leadership and
implementation of integrated infrastructure projects in government agencies in
Kenya. The study established that through motivating, inspiring, negotiating and
transformative, project leaders navigate complex challenges inherent in
infrastructure development, in terms of reduced cost overruns, time overruns and
stakeholder satisfaction. Therefore, by investing in leadership development
programs and embracing collaborative approaches, government agencies in Kenya
can leverage the power of effective project leadership to deliver transformative
infrastructure projects that drive economic growth and improve the quality of
life for citizens.

Abstract:




Employee performance in private security firms is Kenya is facing numerous
challenges frequently emanation from workplace environment. Therefore this study
sought to assess the effect of supervisor support on workplace ergonomics on
employee performance in private security firms in Kenya. The study was anchored
on the Two-Factor Theory of Motivation. The study utilized positivism research
approach. The study used descriptive and correlation research designs. The study
population was 13,484 drawn form the Kenya Security Industry Association (KSIA)
and Protective Security Industry Association (PSIA). The sample size was 180
respondents established by use of Slovin sample size determination formulae.
Questionnaires were used as instruments for obtaining the data required.
Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were enhanced by carrying out a
pilot study prior to data collection. The study adopted regression analysis to
establish the effect of supervisor support on employee performance in private
security firms in Kenya. The study findings indicated that supervisor support
had a positive and significant relationship with employee performance in private
security firms in Kenya. Therefore, the relationship between supervisor support
and employee performance is crucial as it can have far-reaching implications for
both employees and private security firms. The positive and significant
relationship between supervisor support and employee performance suggests that
private security firms should consider investing in ergonomic improvements to
create a healthier, more productive, and engaged workforce. It can have a
cascading effect on various aspects of organizational success. Therefore,
supervisor support has multifaceted implications on employee performance,
influencing various aspects of job satisfaction, engagement, motivation, and
overall organizational success. A supportive supervisory relationship is a key
driver of a healthy and productive work environment. This, in turn, can
contribute to the overall success and employee performance of private security
firms in Kenya.

5.INTERACTIVE EFFECTS OF BIO-FERTILIZERS AND PLANT GLYCINE MAX L POPULATION ON
TWO SOYBEAN (.) CULTIVARS PERFORMANCE IN SOUTH-EASTERN SUDAN

Abstract:




In order to estimate effect of  bio-fertilizers x genotype × plant population
interaction on soy bean performance, an experiment was conducted for two
successive summer seasons (2018 and 2019) at Demonstration Farm of Damazin
Agricultural Research Station in Damazin, Blue Nile State, South-eastern
Sudan.Two cultivars of soybean namely,Sudan-1(V1) and Sudan-2(V1) inoculated
with [Rhizobacteria (B1), Azotobacter (B2) and Bacillus(B3), and without
bacteria as control(B0), respectively] under three  plant population (D1≡
210000, D2≡110000 and D3≡70000 plants/ha). The experiment was laid out in (RCBD)
with three replications as split-split-plots trail. The traits of dry matter,
leaf area, number of nodules, branches, pods per plant, seeds in pod, 100- seed-
weight, seeds and straw yield were studied. The results revealed that, the
interaction between of plant population and bio-fertilizer with genotypes showed
significant effects on the most of these traits. The highest  leaf area
(8.97,9.98), seeds yield (967.22 and 986.22 kg/ha), HI (36.17 and 36.67) 
recorded when sowing seeds of V1 at higher density D1inoculated with B1
(V1×D1×B1)in both seasons. Also, the heavier dry weights (0.95 and 0.92 kg),
higher 100-seed weight (15.49 g), seeds/pod (7.48) were observed in V1×D3×B1
treatment. The superiority of the above two interaction treatments, it was noted
that the Sudan-1 genotype and bio-fertilizer (B1) ranked first in all traits of
the seed yield and its components.
