About
About us
DragonHack is Slovenia’s longest running and largest student hackathon. Held
annually over a fun-packed weekend, teams of students put their skills to work
on real-world software and hardware problems, set by many of sponsor companies.
Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to network and meet some great
like-minded people, this can be an invaluable chance to show off skills and
impress!

Teams of students, mentors and lecturers work for 24 hours straight, followed by
a small presentation of their hack and a chance to win eternal glory.

What is DragonHack?
DragonHack is the largest Slovenian hackathon, where teams of students and
mentors get together and develop real-world hardware and software solutions in
under 24 hours.
What can I expect from DragonHack?
A fun-packed weekend full of like-minded people, representatives from some of
the most innovative tech companies in Slovenia and abroad, great food, and
plenty of swag!
Who can participate?
As long as you are a student, you are more than welcome to attend DragonHack.
The only requirement is that you have a valid Student Identification Card,
regardless of your field of study.
What if I study outside Slovenia?
No problem at all. You are eligible as long as you are a student of any
university.

How much do tickets cost?
Thanks to our wonderful and incredible sponsors our hackathon is completely free
for all participants. We will also provide all of your meals, drinks, snacks,
and swag for free!
Who owns my IP/code/idea?
You own all the rights to your intellectual property.
How many students can be in a team?
The maximum number of students per team is 4.
I can’t code. Should I still attend?
You should definitely still attend, whether you've written tons of code or not a
single line. We're a very welcoming community and we encourage you to give it a
try!
Will there be prizes?
Yes. Thanks to our amazing sponsors the winners or winning teams of each
challenge will receive a prize.
