Pilates instructors have traditionally been taught through apprentice-style
training where the information was passed from teacher to student through
experience. Apprentices would observe their mentor teach, help around the
studio, and practice Pilates.

In contrast, PEI’s curriculum is written and edited by certified Pilates
teachers with years of experience training student teachers and is all available
online. PEI’s accessible content and professional curriculum has made us a
leader in Pilates education since 2014 and has been used in countries around the
world.
