I hooked up the irrigation system which can be quickly 'clicked' off when the unit is moved. I was amazed at how quickly the vegies grew from the small punnets I purchased from Bunnings - in 2 weeks I was able to harvest the baby spinach and rocket. Another week and I harvested the mignonette lettuces. I admit I over-planted the pod and had to do a bit of thinning after 3-4 weeks, the growth was so thick and lush the plants were crowding each other out. I'm very happy with the pod and can see it paying for itself in no time, plus vegies picked from it last a lot longer in the fridge than store-bought ones.
