HEALTHY AGEING SUMMIT

THE CHALLENGE OF MAKING AGEING A BETTER REALITY FOR EVERYONE

APRIL 26, 2023

CROKE PARK, DUBLIN

Ageing is one thing we all have in common, but many factors will influence how
healthily we live as we get older. As the number of people aged 65 and over is
set to double to 1.6million by 2051, our rapidly ageing population is poised to
become one of the most significant social transformations of the 21st century
with implications for almost all parts of society.

This event will bring together health care providers, residential and homecare
leaders, researchers, NGOs and policymakers at all levels of government to share
knowledge and inspire new ideas and innovations that will enable people to live
healthier, stronger and independent lives as they age. Delegates in health and
care services, housing, research, technology and design will seek to improve
best practices in aged care so that older people everywhere can live healthier,
stronger, more independent lives.
