     The hotel is a joy to visit. Staff is always very accommodating. Front desk
     personnel are always welcoming , especially Debbie , though the entire

     Complained already and Christina Godfrey does not know the definition of
     Customer Service. She seems to think a lecture is how to solve a problem. I

     FEBRUARY IN NEWPORT
     
     Overall a lovely stay for our convention. Some amenities may require
     updating sooner rather than later. Skiff was understaffed and food quality
     has gone down from our stay last year: one example was having to send a
     burger back two times - firstly because it was overcooked(med-well and
     supposed to be med-rare), next it had cheese on it. Mind you the other
     med-rare burger at our table came out exactly med-rare. Most of the staff
     was kind, efficient and patient(as we tried to be with them.) Thanks so

     LOVELY HOTEL, CLEAN AND HAS NICE WATER VIEWS
     
     A nice choice in Newport. Valet parking does cost $30/night but it is a
     nicety. Parking can be tough in Newport. Our room did have a water view
     with rooftop access which would be nice in the warmer weather. We did feel
     that our room itself was a little small and tight tho. We would have
     enjoyed the water view but only one chair would fit in the room, LOL. Very
     clean however. The Main Sail restaurant is nice and has some pretty water
     views. It feels more like a breakfast or lunch spot to me. Just feels a bit
     casual. The skiff bar is nice, we happen to hit it on a holiday weekend so
     it was very crowded. We also couldn't book any spa services because all
     were fully booked which was disappointing.

     POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAINSAIL.
     
     Like I said before the lady at the front desk was rude when we checked in.
     She never called me telling me my room was available.
     
     The Mainsail was a major let down. Didn't have a menu and used the bar next

     Overall experience was exceptional. Staff was easy going and prompt. A room

     Did not have any high expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Great
     location, walkable from shops and restaurants, friendly staff, it was not
     busy when we were there so chit chatted and had nice conversations with
